Yep, let's hope Brighton are fighting for pl survival on the last day.
Fulham seem to be doing better since relegation
"All the lads have been talking about is walking out in front of the Kop, with 40,000 singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'," Collins told BBC Radio Solent. "All the money in the world couldn't buy that feeling," he added.

Really all it takes is one lucky bounce. That morrisson header should have made it 1-1.  We also had to scrap out results against teams at the bottom recently. Burnley, Leicester and Brighton may not have City's quality, but they can make life difficult especially if City are not up for a scrap. All we can do is keep on winning. Utd have the talent to take points off city, but are they willing to scrap and make life diifficult for City?

It's not that it matters, but goal difference now it's only 6+. It would be nice if we can score four against Huddersfield.

If it comes down to goal difference City would need to lose so in a way its 5+ at most

Most plausible scneario if it comes down to goal difference is City lose 1, we draw 1. We are probably not going to overcome the goal difference if it comes to that, given how few games there are left.

But then if it comes down to goal difference, we would have to draw 1 while they win one, so back up to 6+  :D

We could easily knock 5 past Huddersfield, 3 past Newcastle, 4 past Wolves.

Arsenal losing now means united have a slight chance of still coming 4th. They now have no choice but to attempt to beat City.

Think after today and the knives already be sharpened in the press that Utd won't deliberately half arse it against City, they will have a game plan and will try and get something from the game.
Problem is that they are utter wank...

Three clear at the moment

Game in hand in the week against Spurs, away. Next week home to Newcastle whilst Cardiff are away at Fulham. Depends completely on what Cardiff do.

We haven't given anyone an absolute battering yet this season, e.g. 5 or 6 to nil. Let's hope the red mancs get a result on weds, then we can give the Terriers a tonking on Friday.

They'll lose the game in hand v Spurs.
So as long as Newcastle win they'll need points on the final day.

Not sure, but I don't think it would? Brighton have a much better GD so they'd need a win on the final day. I'd say 2 or 3 points maximum out of the next two matches for Brighton would keep both teams in it until the final day because Cardiff have an easier run in.

I think that Palace unlikely win at the Emirates is fucking huge.

Arsenal win that then top 4 is over, and Utd players are on the beach, top 4 is still on, and Utd players have to respond after that shit show.

Sadly I'm  a realist and think they're simply not good enough, but theres 3/4 games left, and we have to cling onto fine margins I guess.

Exactly this. It is a derby though, at Old Trafford, after they got destroyed. A win can save their season. Even the fans are probably in a position now where they want to see a performance from the team.

Of course, they are a bit shite, so good chance they get fuck all from the game, but they will certainly have to give it their all or heads will roll.

It amazes me that there's people harbouring hope Manchester United can get anything out of their game against one of the two best teams in England's top league after their embarrassment against Evertonil today!  You're setting yourself up for disappointment.  We'll have to look further than this to one of our former managers for our best hope now, I'm afraid.

Get all the shithouses in, Young, Matic, Herrera, Lingard etc. Hassle them like fuck, destroy themselves for the rest of the season but maybe eke our a draw which looks like the players are still with him.
