Was anyone actually

a) at the draft?
b) got it to work?

For some reason the date didn't change to later in the week as i wanted so it looks like everyone is screwed unless you were there and i know at least 7 teams who weren't.

If everyone gott screwed and couldn't/didn't enjoy it, i can see if we can reset it. The 2 new members didn't even go through before the draft so one had Travis Henry as a keeper for god's sake!!!

Let me know and once again, i apologise.

I was in the draft room and had queued approx 30 players and was in the process of sorting them in order of selection when the draft began. Seeing as I had the last but one pick in the 1st rd I should have had plenty of time to sort them and still make my 1st selection. But no sooner had the draft started the the room decided to freeze and by the time I'd managed to get back in it had auto picked my first pick for me Santonio Holmes :-\ and I just managed to get back in time to actually make my 2nd rd pick.

It was crazy having just 30 seconds per pick, particularly as there was only something like 3 or 4 owners in there, the whole draft was over in under 15 minutes.

Aside from the number of Wk8 byes I've ended up with I can live with what I've got, but as you say there's one team with Henry as a keeper plus the likes of Tom with Crabtree and you with your suspended kicker.

To be honest - I cant see the point in participating in a league where you haven't picked the
players yourself.

I don't know how others feel about losing their keepers, but how about just removing the current league and starting over? That draft was poor - with the freezing & 30 sec picks, I only made 1 pick myself - the rest were autos.

I would do it myself, as long as everyone was going to do the league properly and not drop out after a couple of weeks.

My two penny worth: I'm more than happy to re-run the draft again, it was a farce, but I personally wouldn't want to ditch the league and keepers if I'm honest. At least re-running the draft again allows the new comers to set their keepers and hopefully we'd have more than 30 seconds to select a pick.

No way to re-starting it.

As i said it in, I at least got a couple of players because I pre-ranked them but I guess will have to give them up if people strongly want it.

Ha forget my own draft due to work! Typical!!

I almost forgot it! Managed to get for about round 4, but by that point Brady was ranked as my first choice, and I got him in round 1, so after that I wasn't too arsed!!!  ;D
On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: 'Give them these when they arrive – they'll need them!'

What a legend this man is!

Right after looking on Fleaflcker and on here - i think we need to redraft.

I propose each team keeps maybe 2-3 keepers, i'll wipe the rosters and we hold a draft before season start (THURSDAY!)

Thoughts?

Happy to re-draft if that's the general concenus from everyone else but not I'm happy at losing that many keepers if I'm being honest. I know there needs to be a compromise for those who have just joined the league but it also needs to be fair to those that have been about for the past few years. Looking at everyone's rosters making it say for example a maximum of 6 keepers still puts some good talent back into the draft pot.

Just keep the 3 then, you don't have to keep 6.

The point is, I'll still be picking shite players because everyone else will be keeping 6.  It's a shame that the keeper rules aren't so that you have to give up early round Draft choices for your keepers.

Indeed to be honest it would take a few season under current rules to make my team vaguely competitive with 6 keepers, even the early draft spot isn't a massive advantage given its first and last pick in alternate rounds.

I don't mind doing it but doesn't tend to make it a particularly interestign season when your squad is as fucked up as mine is!

Pity we can't just keep to the original idea of a KEEPER league.

Have 10 players i would like to keep, have drafted over 80% of my players. If yoou've been in since the start, you really can't complain. I even got Vick autodrafted two years ago....

If you wanna do two its fine but I will probably give up my team then.

To be fair Bryan, I haven't and have only recently taken over the team.  I'm just after a bit of help in trying to be competitive.  My best RB is Chris Wells, my best WR is probably Eddie Royal.  I've even got Correll sodding Buckhalter on the roster, that some arse drafted in the 4th round of the Draft!!!!

As I said I'm happy enough to do it, just means I'll have to spend a few years drafting potential and ignoring the fact I come last or thereabouts every season, nobody's fault but my own I know.

Mind you i'm also happy enough to stay with the results of the draft we already made !

Just a shame I missed out on the normal draft for the other league
