Think that should be spoilered, not everyone's cuppa.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

That right peg hits it and you see the future arc of the ball and time goes al gluey like a Dali painting, and for a second there's a 20yr old StevenGerrard and your young self cheering him on through the prism. His big smile fades in an the net is shivering and J.Hart's trying not to look grateful for the privilege of being that close to greatness

Came on and scored a goal did he not? And not just any goal either a goal that got Ireland out of the group.

One of my most memorable moments of Aldo in an Irish shirt is him getting right up in the grill of a Portuguese defender for a goal he didn't get. Magic moments.

Funny that you added Redondo. Pasarella the Argentinian coach during part of the 90's asked him to have his hair sorter, otherwise he wouldn't select him for the NT. Redondo refused and Pasarella kept his word.

Jesus! Would that be "The Butcher" by any chance?

Pics one and two.

The first one was the infamous fight that happened after the final whistle of the Spanish Cup final, with Goicoetxea trying to get revenge on Maradona who a few seconds earlier had knocked out the Athletic reserve keeper with a knee on his chin.

The second pic shows the moment Goico broke Maradona's ankle.
