Got a picture of my great gran at home who was a player for a young ladies team in Scotland. Its from 1914. Not sure how old she is on it. Ill try and post tonight.

What a fantastic picture to have. I guess given it was taken at the height of the suffragette movement these women would have been trailblazers in their community. Something to be proud of indeed. The thread would jump up a notch if it continued in the same way with first hand contributions.

Seeing these pictures bring back great childhood memoirs, especially the 1988-95 Pictures seems like I am reliving my childhood with those pictures.

What great pictures.

The Wednesday v Santos game picture looks like it's from 1972 - They did play them in 1962 - but I think that picture is from the second game in 1972, which was played in the afternoon because of the ban on using floodlights at sporting events during the miners strike.
