You need to move on. That entire operation was a complete fabrication by the "Fake Sheikh" who would later be jailed for other various nefarious and illegal operations.

Basically the NOTW taped Higgins in two different conversations. One was strictly discussing the possibility of running an exhibition somewhere like Hong Kong and if he did, can they be arranged/fixed. Anyone who has watched an exhibition where a pro "throws" a game vs a kid or a disabled player will know what fixed means. Higgins said of course it could be. Then the next day they had another conversation about proper tournaments with no talk of rigging. The NOTW/Sheikh edited the two conversations together to make it look like Higgins would fix a ranking tournament.

I don't think anyone in this forum should need to be told which side to pick when the NOTW is on one half of it.

The same (& only) guy who is trying to shine a light on Man City's financial cheating has a very good report on it here which is must-reading for any snooker fan, especially those like me who until a week ago had a questionmark over Higgins.

Thanks for this; as other posters have said, it shines a completely new light on the affair. I shall adjust my view accordingly😌

We have what, the 4th or so highest wage bill in the country? We must be mismanaged then if top four is success.
last summer as Klopp was building his 2.0 squad, the general view was "success would be Top 4 minimum, with a domestic cup as bonus".  we did exactly that.
now with a brand new manager (ok head coach) implementing a new system, with question marks over who the squad will actually consist of, a similar level of performance doesn't seem unreasonable.

what will "success" be for you in Slot's first season?

Barcelona wanted Arteta to replace Xavi a few months back when Xavi announced he was leaving. Arteta said its not happening.

Im telling you know, Arteta will be Arsenal manager for a long time.

This is a troll account, right? Who on here started this account? :lmao

Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was good. And No Way Home was massive, although I don’t know if it was particularly good. Agree it feels longer although I think a huge part of that is COVID.

I think decline coincided with Disney Plus starting. Spread themselves too thin making mediocre content for the streaming service in the early days. Hopefully they have learned their lesson.

Our four best seasons under Klopp, August 2018 to June 2022, were also prime Fabinho.

Klopp's first two years the team was open, conceding easy chances but scoring plenty too, games were rollercoasters, none more so than 5-4 at Norwich.

We then made three key signings. Virgil in Jan '18, followed by Fabinho and Ali in summer '18. We became watertight from then on.
Agreed, and a quality no6 has to be the no1 target. We've known it for 2 years now. Macca has done very well as has Endo but Macca is better suited further foward (or as a double pivot option) and Endo should only be a good squad option.

It was understandable to not get someone last season as we dod cover off the other Midfield positions but it would be a failure not to have found one by this summer. Thiagos departure creates a space for someone so that won't be an issue. Probably the first true test of Hughes' reign.

Now might be the time to say fuck it and get him higher up the pitch entirely. Get Nunez receiving the ball as close to goal as possible. If we think he can be KDB get him in that right hand channel rather than trying to break lines into a 9 with no first touch.

Gomez at RB, Mac and a 6 slightly deeper.
It has to happen if we ever wanna fully unlock him and hide his weaknesses as much as possible.

Read something before on twitter about 777 owning an airline which has gone bankrupt. Not sure if true but they seem to be the dodgiest fuckers of all time. I pray the league let's it go through, destroying the club in the process.

Yes but like rich people, being punished for anything never seems to go the same way as the lay person, for all the cheating and debt, they'll probably go into administration and virtually nothing will happen, somehow they'll stay in the premier league, somehow not having to sell that many players.

Everyone else would go under

WWE draft looked a bit of a damp squib with the vast majority of moves being mid-carders and below. No champions moved... Smackdown still has Bianca, Randy Orton, LA Knight, The Bloodline, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens... Raw still has Drew, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, Gunther, Gable etc. I guess when they're on a hot streak they don't feel they need to make massive changes.

Probably most interesting was the NXT call-ups. Carmelo Hayes now on Smackdown and Ilja Dragunov now on Raw (Gunther feud incoming, hopefully). A bunch of others have come up too - Kiana James, Blair Davenport, Lyra Valkyria... Corbin is back on Smackdown and Dijak is on Raw. And they brought Bron Breakker, Tiffany Stratton, Creed Brothers and Tyler Bate up very recently too.

Not from a 10 position, he can't do what Firmino did from a false 9 or 10 position hence why he's never played there.

Thinking he can thread a pass quickly from the right hand side of centre off his right foot in the most congested area of the pitch is madness. He's a legend from the left but in my opinion he can't play the 10.

The idea that a man who is literally as good or better than every forward in world football at creative passing ‘can’t’ do it from a central position is so very odd I don’t know where to start. Many of his creative passes are from 10 like positions anyway - it’s hard to play killer creative passes when you’re on the right flank.
