Still don't understand why our front 3 played the way they did. If Gakpo was bought to be the no.9, then why buy Nunez in the summer when we also have Diaz in the squad? Nonsensical throughout. At least, we weren't played off the pitch this time.

We had about 8 midfielders on today and everyone of the, was shite
That game was there for the taking second half and we even got away with a potential couple of red cards and still shut the bed

That last 10 minutes was baffling after a decent game before that.

The freekick routine was so incredibly obvious from their set up, yet no marking and no winning the second cross. Our on pitch game intelligence seems to have disappeared

Why we needed to replace all 3 that started the game I don’t know. We’re only playing one game a week at the moment.

Mitoma is quality, has ripped us to pieces all season. Surely we could’ve put a bid in for some of these Brighton players (mitoma, caicedo). They have the energy we’re missing.

As for us 2nd half fell to pieces, we’re in the shit. Need a clear out of many players who’ve overstayed

Not gonna just ignore how we played because of the result…it was much better, with a bit of confidence we win that easily. Absolutely horrible indictment that bringing on Henderson and Fabinho is seen as throwing the game away, and god alone knows how Robertson is the one player seemingly immune to being dropped.
