If one is using the abbreviated form, should one not say, "an SAE", since the "S" starts with a vowel sound, viz "ESS"?

Can I just say that I've immensely enjoyed this past season on RAWK.
Some really great writing and debate all around. I like the new Preview thread format, i has improved things and delivered some top opening posts, Spyin' Kop as good as ever and my favourite the Round table threads have really offered great debate, a lot of insight and quality posts. Thanks to all who contributed and those who keep RAWK ticking.
