Entertaining that, well worth watching.

Great skill, superb goals, and loads of shithousery.

Imagine a PGMOL ref doing that game. It would be abandoned with too players on the pitch unless he decided not to issue any second yellows. Could see why he kept his cards hidden in the first half.

What a volley to win a major trophy. Andre can leave in January now, a happy man.

😀

It was more entertaining than most of the Premier League today, Man U-Fulham have nothing on these two. Dramatic dives, bone crunching tackles, a splash of wrestling, fans almost kidnapping a player! It had it all. The right winners though in the end.

Because it was good fun…

That's why I enjoyed it. Incompetent ref, unruly players, genuine physical assaults, much rolling around and simulation. If the ref hadn't been at least a foot taller than all the players he'd have been attacked. That was regrettable. Would have put the icing on the cake. I was trying to imagine what would have happened had one team had to suffer as much as Arsenal did yesterday.

I must say I wondered about that too. The pace of the game was generally slow. Certainly much slower than what we're used to. He also didn't t look fit to me. After around the 65 minute mark Andre stopped moving, let alone running.

I must say I wondered about that too. The pace of the game was generally slow. Certainly much slower than what we're used to. He also didn't t look fit to me. After around the 65 minute mark Andre stopped moving, let alone running.

You can't say he was slow in the first half, he was running everywhere and mopping up which seems to show his importance to the general set up in that team. I think what happened was the game changed when Boca actually started playing some football, they upped the tempo and it did lead them seeming less intense as a result. He is very comfortable on the ball like so many of the South American players, and I think he will be fine as a holding midfielder here.
