I reckon they will 'add' more. Either through returns, failed payments, or people having in basket and not buying.

They are usually spot on with their sales forecasts and the reference table had 3 sections. They may open it up to 1000 tomorrow. I am just over 1000 and it's for a friend as already sorted.

Seems BS. Someone posted about 20,000 people entered their ballot. Regardless, there's obvious segregation issues trying to give us them and us being opposite ends of the stadium.

Ditto. Would be shocked if they returned any. Even if they did, UEFA would probably keep them anyway!

I’ve bought a ticket off a friend on friend via the website and paid on my card today on the waiting list, will my card have to be present when he collects the tickets defiantly? I just want this re assurance as I’ve paid 380 on my card as you can appricate..

I normally take the card I pay with up with me when picking up, but there should be information about collection on the website when they’re ready.

Supporters will be required to produce the following forms of identification:

Payment card used to purchase the ticket(s)   

AND either of the following:

Valid Photocard Driver's Licence

or

Valid Passport plus proof of address, e.g. a utility bill dated within the last 6 months

I’m guessing you will need the payment card defiantly

Bought a ticket on uncles account with my debit card. Could not attach his to my ‘ friends and family’.

I have a copy of the confirmation email from him, and I obviously have my debit card. Will this be sufficient for me to collect the tickets ?

It won’t be another 4000, loads of us are going anyway and have already booked travel.  If we do get any more tickets it will be a godsend to those of us on the waiting list.

How about if I present his ID and seasie card ( he struggles with mobility so don’t really want to be getting him up to Anfield especially when he’s not the person travelling on the ticket )

Is the ticket in his name? I know if you’re not lead but present on the booking it’s not an issue to take ID for yourself and the lead plus payment card.

Hi, it’s a strange one.... it is his name but is for a personal assistant.  ( he has a disabled spec at Anfield). I am not present on his booking as I had to complete his ticket individually as I am unable to link my account to his. 😕

I have sent a photo of the credit card used to buy tickets to the lead supporter, when it hasnt been their credit card used to buy tickets, to show at the ticket office when collecting tickets and thats always been fine for them - ynwa !

They said the Lead Supporter (ST holder in this case) must be present on collection. As my friend is working this makes it very difficult.

I also asked when the tickets will be ready for collection and was told maybe Friday or latest Monday. Not exactly leaving a lot of opportunity!

If anybody successfully collects tickets and they're booked using another ST or Member's account please post here (Or maybe even ask out of interest when you do collect). Once it sells out which will more than likely be this afternoon, I imagine they will release collection dates to collect tomorrow PM onwards

Discounting the people who have never been to a match in their life.  I still reckon 75% ish of who go over will get sorted.

Not necesserily in the Liverpool section, but they'll get in.

It's probably been mentioned somewhere before but this ballot is so farcical. Like you say people who aint got a shred of interest in going to the match end up with tickets and resell for higher costs. The whole thing needs scrapping and rethinking. There must be a better way
I know a few who had no interest in traveling and yet they have tickets!!!!

The only real way is a point based system in my opinion that goes back over the past 4 seasons so that it gives new supporters the chance to get on the ladder too

That’d still allow people with the points to buy and not go.

Realistically without having all the ticket being collected out there or some form of Biometric identification being used you're not going to completley eradicate the issue

Maybe have cross competition points for the final e.g. amount of league & cup games attended in the season.

N.B. give STH's a flat amount of points per season & members a set amount of points per league game attended
