It's been a while since we've been outplayed that badly, just not at the races at all today.

Only positive is that it's somehow still 0-0 and we have a chance to sort ourselves out in the second half.

Thought that Shearer was fair enough throughout, but the other lad was weird.

Liverpool get a good ball through, praises Arsenal’s defending. Liverpool defend well. Mentions that Arsenal didn’t get through. Good chance for Liverpool. Praises Arsenal defence.

Also mentions the African Cup of Nations in relation to players missing for Arsenal. I’m sure Liverpool have some players in that too?

Thought the ref did OK. Didn’t fall for all of Arsenal’s diving. Fairly even coming into half time. Coote on VAR hasn’t fucked us over yet either, which is a big surprise. Not sure how the ref can give that ‘foul’ on Gapko’s shoulder barge which I believe is a legal challenge?


Liverpool have been absolute dogshite in front of goal, but ok elsewhere. Need to step up second half or put the kids on. Either option is fine with me

Both sides hit the crossbar and 0-0 probably a fair result. Arsenal had more chances, but their finishing was a load of wank - plus some decent blocks from the lads.

Alan Shearer is thick as shit with his “Arsenal could have had had three or four goals”. He doesn’t realise that when two or three shots come from the same phase of play, doesn’t mean they can’t score from each of those shots. If one had gone in the game would reset.

The absolute arrogance going to Emirates with Gakpo playing in midfield, the lad barely runs and there's like 0 intensity to his pressing game.

And sorry but that's a horrible game management from Klopp and co, we haven't changed a thing since the 1st minute when it was clear this setup won't work. Lucky we're not 3 goals down, some absolute shite performances out there.

Not feeling Gakpo as a midfielder at all. We look particularly lightweight in the middle today. Missing Virgil’s ability to play from the back. Service in to Nunez has been poor and he’s struggling to live off scraps against Saliba.

On a side note, Saka is developing into a proper cryarse.

OK so far. We struggle to play the ball upfield and end up in difficulties more than we should. Need to correct that for the second half. Shame TAA's shot hit the bar. It was worth a better destiny.
