Yes I pretty much agree with all that, crucial Jota coming back now, but it would really help us if Nunez could find his scoring streak that way we don't have to rush Jota back in. I am more interested in whether we can find the best flow between midfield/forward once Mo has gone. Getting Gakpo for example really firing the way he was part of last season could give us some momentum. I am pretty sure the likes of Elliot will play a really important part as well. Speaking of returning players I hope Macca plays some part tomorrow night.

Klopp and the players must know by now there's no point going in at a slow start. We are already a goal down thanks to the refs (i.e. a blatant penalty not awarded to us, or a crazy penalty awarded to them, or a perfectly good goal for us chalked off, the usual).

We have to play with a mentality of chasing the game from the first minute.

Newcastle want a slow tempo. They'll obviously waste time from the first second.

They've basically got their 1st choice starting 11 bar Pope, they've had their 1st proper recovery break for a while, can see this being a tough low scoring game full of their bullshit time wasting, an early goal would be lovely.
