Real shame that - unlucky Neil! Keep your head up and remember YNWA !

Always welcome at Anfield and thank you for the great memories - Arsenal and Olympiakos for me spring to mind.

Terrible way to end your career. Get well soon. :(
Hating people because of their color is wrong. And it doesn't matter which color does the hating. It's just plain wrong.

deserves a firm place in all our memories. his performance against olympiakos allowed us to dream

Agreed while Garrard gets all the praise for winning that game - rightly so - it was Mellor and Pongolle who turned the match coming on as subs and scoring. They were not included in the homecoming tour either because the bus did not wait for them.

Good luck TBM all the best for the future

That Arsenal goal. Couldn't stop screaming for a while after.
Football without fans is nothing.

We've won 18 titles, 5 European Cups, 7 FA Cups, but today must be the greatest victory of all.

Terrible news for Neil. I'm gutted for him.

His goal against Arsenal was sensational, and the part he played in defeating Olympiakos can never be understated. Scored one, and one assist in a 12 minute cameo. Best of luck for the future Neil.

Gutted for the lad.

I'll never forgt that Arsenal goal. I was resigned to it ending 1-1 and in my wildest dreams wouldn't have imagined what was about to happen when Dudek took that goal kick.
