Sturridge will be back in the next two weeks. He is already running and turning.
Do calm down. I was certainly not beating anybody. Just musing why an injured player played is all.
I note the complete absence of PoP from the boards in the last few days.I feel 'bad' reading, and agreeing with, various posts bemoaning the lack of rotation etc in the absence of his well-timed and informed rejoinders.
Another for the injury list, damn it!
Anyone know anything about the returns of Allen and Sakho?I understand Enrique's is a serious injury but what was the time scale on that one too?
One day, people will hopefully look back and say "I was there son. I was there the year that Spurs won nothing again."
yer ma should have called you Paolo Zico Gerry Socrates HELLRAZOR
2 months i heard for both sakho and allen[/quoteJesus Christ.

Jesus Christ.
think sakhos was a tear, 2 months is pretty standard. thats what id expect. shame allen hasnt had much luck in 2013
Worst bit of multi quoting I have witnessed in a long time.
Pascoe just said Sturridge could be a week - 10 days, Allen 10 days to a fornight.
So Allen and Sturridge should/could be fit for Villa at home, the only league game they will miss between then and now is Stoke away.
I think Sturridge will be on the bench for Stoke. Still 9 days away.
Are the dates Pascoe gave when they will be fit or when they return to training?
Any updates on Sakho ?Weird as all of his threads are locked (wtf ). It's been 8 days since he was injured, surely the extent of his injury must be determined by now ?!
Shut the fuck up and put some respek on Lucas name playboy
David Platt has a face like a Michael Myers mask being stretched over a dinosaur egg.
Aquilani is better than Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Messi and Beckenbauer put together.
if he is back from a hamstring injury that quickly that is unreal.I pulled my hamstring about 4 years ago and still struggle with it. What does that say about my fitness levels I wonder?
How on earth can you return that quick from a hamstring? Seemed like a full tear the way he hobbled around. Hardcore indeed.
If it was a full tear he wouldn't have been able to walk.Football physios aim to have a player back from a hamstring injury in 21 days. It's been 10 days since then so far, will be 14 days on Sunday. If he's back Sunday he'll be a little ahead of schedule but not too much. He won't start but the club will know exactly how much time Sakho will be able to play if he's available to play.
If Agger isn't available I think Sakho will start if at all possible especially after the debacle of Touré and Skrtel (two right footers) at Hull.
to be honest coming back 14 days into a 21 day expected time out is shaving a 3rd off it, that's pretty impressive.
