I think they will scrape a draw. If Murray can put Lindelof and Bailly in trouble, Kane should at least score one.

Spurs flat out lied to avoid having to have the entire season at Wembley.

Yeah this is the issue for me.

It ems they probably knew months ago they had little to no chance of being in by the deadline that had been set, and likely knew they wouldn’t be anywhere near this date as is now appearing the case.

However to avoid having to play an entire season at Wembley they’ve kept this quiet until the last possible minute and are now just messing everyone around.

Yep

And its not out of the blue either is it. None of us are expert builders or whatever, and yet many were saying months ago that it looked like there was no chance it'd be ready for when they needed it. I couldn't really give two fucks as its mainly their own fans they've screwed over, but it doesn't really seem to be within the rules.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Scandalous what they’re doing , they should be punished and severely.
In fact, I’d have them give back every trophy they’ve won in the last decade.

Edit: oh wait, fuck, that’s no punishment at all.

Spurs flat out lied to avoid having to have the entire season at Wembley.

The NFL has contingency plans months ago, so someone knew it was going to very late.

So i can see why they should b punished, I just don’t know what’s  appropriate.

They also used the fact the stadium would only be ready by mid sept, as a way of having the fixture scheduler schedule more of their opening games than normal away from home, on the promises to the FA that they would then only have to use Wembley as a home alternative for the first match, and that by then having 4 of their other first 6 matches away, would mean they could move into NWHL for the 2nd game to not have to spend more time in Wembley (and equally have loads of home matches at the end of the season which is unfair potentially too)

If they had have been more honest, and asked to use Wembley until, say, November, there is a good chance the league wouldn't have bent over backwards with their scheduling to allow them to do this

This is actually a great point.

Means they'll spend less renting Wembley and gain more by having additional home games in their new stadium come the second half of the season.

If they'd have told the truth earlier on the they'd have had none of the initial games rearranged away from home and would have had to rent Wembley for them.

2013 United were still a force and Spurs stiil, not so much if a force .

Maybe he was like a chrysalis about to transition from Spurs to a United butterfly. In the meantime Spurs have acquired wings, as evidenced by Alli's and Kane's ability to fly in opposition penalty areas, so he is now firmly, for now at least, in the Spurs camp. Or something. :D

It's infuriating to be honest. Multi millionaires driving around drunk, why can't you afford to have someone drive you home instead? I know people don't always make great choices when drunk but surely they can think ahead?

Then they just get away with it as well. Lloris will get a fine, I'm not sure what the punishment would be for an average person there for drink driving, but there are footballers out there who have killed people speeding and drink driving that are still playing for big teams. It's disgusting.

He'll get a ban won't he? Bobby did anyway and he was only just over the limit they said. I thought all drink driving was an automatic ban. As for fines, they're related to income now I think for driving offences.
