Scoring against Wales doesn't change that fact. England managed by Hodgson even managed 2  ;D

Wales doing a Scotland.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Georgia are really terrible these days. They're ranked 137th in the World now. Still, they have Weiss in charge now who got Slovakia to the World Cup in 2010 so improvement should certainly come sooner rather than later. Ananidze is quite a decent player.

To be fair they haven't looked that bad at all, obviously nowhere near good enough to qualify or even get a play-off spot but they look far better than that 137th ranking would suggest, and I'd wager they would cause quite a few teams problems when playing in Georgia as well.

They did beat Spain in a friendly before the Euros so perhaps I'm doing them a disservice. They might already be on the up now, I don't know enough about them but they used to have players like Kaladze, Kinkladze and Arveladze.

The FIFA rankings are bollocks anyway. I myself am Bulgarian, and I think we're ranked somewhere between 70-80th the last time I checked and can comfortably say that Georgia look a much better side than us and yet there they sit 137th.

True, not so long ago they had Belgium ranked number 1 in the World.

When I think of Georgia its always Khizanishvili who pops into my head.

You are right that this is a poor Georgia team, 2010-2012 they maintained 73 in the world ranking, dropping to 101, 125, 122 and now a lowly 137. They've performed admirably tonight though, you'd fancy them to edge this if anyone in the last 20.
I´ll say something that might surprise you. Real life is different to computer games.
I think Nadal is brilliant. One of the top 10 ever.

They were tidy against us the last night but collapse after we scored, shown us far too much respect. Not tonight

Wales don't have much depth, it's not a criticism, it's just how it is. Their strongest team is very good, it's just when key players get injured that problems arise. King and Edwards with all due respect aren't Allen or Ramsey.

Disappointing result for Wales but not a disaster by any means. I'd actually fancy them to do well against the better teams in this group, especially as they've got their toughest fixture out of the way already.

Aye, though like you say there isn't much depth there when a couple of the 'bigger' players are out - though Georgia really worked out and exploited Wales lack of agility in midfield late on - other teams will be looking at that too - so could do with Ramsey & Allen back asap and a little luck with injuries etc.

Still think Wales have enough to do it - hope so anyway.

Verratti pulling the strings in midfield for Italy tonight. New front pair of Bellotti and Immobile after they sent Pelle home.

Moldova with one win in their  last 23 games (v Andorra). 2 draws and 8 defeats in their last 10 home games.

Predicting Moldova 0-3 Ireland.

Expecting Serbia v Austria to be an open game.

Bag of shite that second half from us, lucky to get a draw out of it. One best player loss to far in Ramsey and Allen both out. Hopefully be a kick in the arse for the rest of the qualifiers for us now.
