Is the plug adaptor the same in Switzerland as it is in Spain/France?

It's not. Slightly different but some EU ones will work.

Have a safe trip everyone from the forum going to the game. Enjoy yourselves and bring the Europa cup back home sing your harts out. At least I have RAWK to at least get a sense of what it will be like at the final. I shall live this adventure though you guys.

Gonna find a supermarket later and load up with ale for the trip

Does anyone know if you can buy the match programme off the club or anything? Only doing the day trip so not taking a bag and don't wanna carry a programme around all night

Maybe - it's a 100 Swiss Franc fine though.

That's what I was thinking. There were one or two right shitbags around in Athens.

Yeah my mate Matt had his robbed off him in Athens. Asked for it somewhat by putting it in his back pocket ::) but still, someone intentionally swiped it off a fellow red.

Got a few jobs to get done today and hoping to get my wages from the Irish Club (About £78 so that's about 10 beers ;D) then I have work from 5pm till 1am. Need to walk home, try and get a hours kip or so, then my 67 year old Manchester United mate is picking me up to drive me to Stansted at 3:45. I'l be on the 6:25 out of Stansted, arriving in Basel for 9. My mate is joining me half an hour later from Liverpool which works out quite nicely. Drop anything we don't need for the day at our AirBnB and then we have to make our way to the stadium to get a friends duplicate (if they'll allow us before 5:45pm) before hitting the square to try and find space for my banner and finally get the beers flowing ;D

You can check what services are running here http://www.sncf.com/en/trainstatus use the timetable and real traffic button on left of page, you can check via specific train or route.  TGV's from Gare de Lyon and Gare d'Est to Basel and Strasbourg seem to be running normally, some disruption Strasboug to Basel but hopefully not too bad. Not sure whether you can go any route if already booked a ticket think might have to stick to original route or cancel and rebook...some more info from Mersey Paradise in the travel forum here http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=327743.0

If that has been cancelled apparently you're entitled to travel on any other similar train during the strike mate (Or if you prefer, a refund or an exchange)
