What's up with Mo? At the moment you'd have more confidence in Matip if the ball falls at his feet and he has a great chance to score.

The guy is playing more for the team. When Fulham nicked the ball and attacked us early on in the half he ran the length of the field to put pressure on Babbel. The lad is working his backside off, maybe in working for the team, he's lost a bit of that selfishness that attacking players need.

Massive result. Dog shit shit performance. Fulham one of the worst teams I've seen, up there with Sunderland.

Shite performance.  Shite subs.  Top of the league.

I thought our subs were good. Origi's been sound recently by being direct, different and positive plus Milly got the winner.   :scarf

Glad that defensive error's consigned to the memory hole. We're not going away that easily this time. Well in Redmen. Going TOTL with the same points total we achieved last season.

awful second half, played with no urgency at all at 1-0. Trent looked he was having a five a side at training, head not on the job.

Was it just me or did Babel look as though he was trying to come up with a way not to kick the ball into the net?

Huge 3 points

Yeah he looked like he jumped over one poor pass from Allison near the end.

Well in Milly for having big cojones for the pen - never in doubt.

Awful in the final third today - hopefully the dam will break soon for Mo and the goals will come in a flood. He's trying too hard at the moment.

Didn't play well and got the three points - that is the only important thing.

Nearly.... NEARLLY!!! Fucked that up and I would have gone into complete melt down for the rest of this Sunday afternoon 🤣 we played well, that was just blind luck... I take comfort from the only way the opposition seem to able to score against us in most cases is by some freak accident. Salah needs to forget about this 50 business and look for the pass if it’s on, his shots have nearlly always been straight at the keeper recently, needs to forget about it and just play football.

Think he knows that he needs to score mate
Its like Salah and Mane have reversed roles from last season. Once Salah scores he and goes on a run we will go to another level. Mane is carrying our attack at the moment - firmino worries me more than Salah.
Overall shit performance - we've had too many games like this season like this where we have ground out a goal by 1 goal but we too often we fall down to the other team's level.

Ultimately three posts are all that matters.

We’ve had a long long week Sunday win, Wednesday away in Germany, win.

On Sunday, very tired really. But after the mix up we sorted it out.

A soft penalty of course but it’s about time, we get so few.

We didn't avoid it, we slipped on it, did a perfect forward flip and landed on two feet and walking away whistling hoping no one saw it.

Thank god Fulham are a pile of shite, because that general performance was half-arsed to the point of arrogance for long spells. I don't think it came from Klopp at all, because he was going ballistic. Someone needs to have a word with Salah, he clearly put his desire for a goal above the best interests of the team in this particular match, and the less things were working for him, the more single-minded he became.

As poor as Van Dijk's header was, your keeper has to be brave enough to go in with his hands there and take whatever hit comes from the pressing player.

At least Mane continues to play well. Hopefully the Munich game took more out of the players than it seemed during the match, because it's a massive worry if that performance was the result of the approach rather than a bit of fatigue.

Crazy for their goal, but we were steady if not spectacular throughout.

Salah needs time off out of the team though. He's not in a bad run of form, he's just become too predictable. A position-change might even help (go to the left side, for example). He needs a "reboot"

I actually think the team's forward play has become too predictable, less his own play. We're much more conservative at the moment. Salah is surrounded and we try to use him as a board to play off. And then when there's the chance to link up his full-back is Trent who is always looking to fly crosses in. I used to get really excited when our full-backs got on the ball on the overlap. Often Robbo ends up going backwards or into trouble but he has more success than Trent, who lashes in a series of crosses anywhere on the spectrum from deadly to row Zers.

On the ball, Salah's dribbling I think has probably become samey though, yes. He needs a new trick 1 vs. 1 I'd say. Maybe he'd get that by switching sides?

To drop someone like Salah you need someone who can replace him though, we can't really do that without a massive drop in quality. Switching sides could work but with Mane on fire do we want to mess with his position?

Yep he really did, got himself in exactly the right position to not give the guy on the ball an option, was a brilliant piece of defending.
