It's an unbelievable goal, but I'd be surprised if there aren't a few to better it across the world. I don't know why but when a goalkeeper gets a touch it just diminshes it very, very slightly.

Can't get on that in work, but if it's the goal where the keeper throws it into the net, I don't think it should have been given as doesn't look like the whole ball goes over the line.

Yeah that is the one - it is really hard to tell if it is fully over, you can see clear grass at the base of the ball, but looking down it might not have all crossed, mm's in it.

was there for that on Friday but down behind the other goal, didnt appreciate how good it was until after,

the winner in the game from Jack Byrne was a nice goal too but nowhere near as good as that

It was lovely. I had gone on a school trip to Bergen, aged 17 or something, and I had to force my art class room mates to watch it. Fowler scored that goal, and I was happy. They had to admit it was a thing of beauty.
