Argh, horrible feeling they will raise there game against us. Our record at Old Trafford isn't really that amazing considering how shite they have been for a decade plus.

It's their cup final now. I can guarantee you this they'll put up more of a fight than they did against Abu Dhabi.
Soccer - let's face it, its not really about a game of ball anymore is it?

It’s only when you open a live score app and see fixture lists like today when you see the absolute amount of dross in this league.

Can't wait to see the media furore because Sheffield United weren't awarded the indirect freekick when Solanke double-touched the ball.

Wow

Sheffield United take  0-2 lead from a corner. Neto punches the ball into the back of Solanke deflectiong it to the back post where Jack Robinson smashes it in off the post.

Bournemouth then go down and Solanke prods in from a deflected clearance, but the deflection comes off his arm, no goal.

It stays 0-2.

Wow

Sheffield United take  0-2 lead, but Bournemouth score from almost the kick off!

But Bournemouth's goal is ruled out due to a hand ball in the build up.

It stays 0-2 Sheffield.

Solanke's disallowed goal for Bournemouth - https://twitter.com/FootColic/status/1766501029074415898  (VAR said there was a handball in the build-up)

;D

The handball rule is fucking daft. It's not a penalty if the ball gets booted at a defender from half a yard away, so why should a goal be disallowed for the same thing?

You can't have the same incident being punished in different ways depending on what happens afterwards. Heck, even if Solanke had passed to someone else it wouldn't have been disallowed.

And if the rain stops, and everything's dry.. she would cry, just so I could drink tears from her eyes.

Logic, reasoning, common sense, fair play, and foresight... seemed to have left IFAB (and other idiots that write the rules) long ago mate. Less said about FIFA, UEFA, PL and the FA the better.

It feels like many of the changes that have come into football... have simply made the game worse. (but I'm just another old cynic shaking my fist at a cloud) ;)

I 100% agree. There is some much bullshit about things in the box.

Defenders get that whole "his arm is in a position, but attacks get none of that.

It is the same thing for what is a foul inside and outside the box. If it is foul in the box it is a foul out of it and vice versa.

Hopefully they will stay that way and not raise their games against us.

Even raising their game to the highest level they can is levels below us, they're both shite, Utd the worse. Any decent side would have been 2 up today in the first 5 mins v the Mancs, they were fucking awful.

Genuine question, why is Gary O'Neill being constantly bigged up? I'm hearing talk of manager of the season, what a job he's done etc etc whereas someone like David Moyes, whose side is ahead in the table, was one of the favorites to get the sack a week or two ago.

Got a feeling Brentford are going to win today. 12-1 which I think is very generous.

I doubt they'll score 12 if they win

Genuine question, why is Gary O'Neill being constantly bigged up? I'm hearing talk of manager of the season, what a job he's done etc etc whereas someone like David Moyes, whose side is ahead in the table, was one of the favorites to get the sack a week or two ago.

Loads had them relegated at the start of the season, they couldn't spend due to FFP and lost the likes of Nunes, Neves and Collins. Their manager left in August after being unhappy they couldn't spend so he had no pre season either. West Ham spend fuck loads and had a better squad anyway.
