4-0 now. Brace for Messi and 1 for Suarez, can see them going without defeat in La Liga this season

He's been on some crazy run, now 2nd in the league with 15 goals.

Suarez is a treat to watch. I miss him.

Off for my sunday night cry when I watch his goals, eat cheesecake and pleasure myself into my sock named Louie. Beautiful human being. Outstanding.

He is the second best player in the world after all.

If only he could pass like Ronaldo. Sigh.

Have just read:

Messi has the most goals and most assists in La Liga History.

402 games, 368 goals, 145 assists.

If 3 players combined did that over 402 games they'd all be world class. :o

12 completed dribbles last night, most in a La Liga match in 3 years - presumably since he did it last

Already 5th on the all time Barcelona scoring list and fastest to 100 in club's history

He's got a chance to become their 3rd, or if he has a long enough career, second highest scorer of all time. Crazy considering he was 27-28 when he went there.

What a player.

Criminally underrated because he's a bit of a mad man.

Past his best, absolutely. He's been pretty ordinary for the vast majority of the season, Messi was absolutely carrying them until about a month ago. A few excellent performances lately but I don't think his game is close to where it was a season or 2 ago. Still one of the best around because there just isn't many exceptional strikers.

I tend to agree with Gerry. I somehow expect less from Suarez these days, less than his absolute best. Aging has impacted him a bit. Or maybe winning all those trophies at Barca right away dented his motivation together with nice climate and lifestyle.

Regardless, he is still in top 3 in the world. I look at Lukaku and Morata transfers, and then watch how they play... if Lukaku is worth 100m, Suarez is at least double that. Even Aguero, who has been scoring a lot, just isn't a patch on Suarez.

Oh come on mate! He's scored 10 goals in his last 7 league games. His slow start could just as easily be put down to Neymar's absence & the restructuring of the side as much as his age. He created a lot of goals for Suarez.

For Barca fans, what's your opinion on Denis Suarez? Would he be suitable for LFC?

I've got a feeling that Origi is the real deal, from a couple of games I watched but mainly his interviews there seems to be something about him.

No mate. There are better players out there. I don't think he is anything special. If you are thinking of young players from Barca then Semedo and Sergi Roberto are above the cut.

Definitely could suit LFC, he really plays best in the Coutinho role but has not managed to get consistent minutes since being brought back to the club while out on loans.  This season, I've noticed that while he has played well in limited action he has seemingly been weighed down by the expectations because he's had some inexplicable misses.  It's one thing to excel elsewhere and take your chances but another playing alongside Messi

Rafinha & Arda have been moved leaving Coutinho, Iniesta, Rakitic, Gomes, Paulinho, Busquets & Roberto for midfield depth.  Unless there's an injury, I just don't see him getting ahead of Iniesta or Coutinho for minutes this season which means he will be relegated to mopup duty which might actually help the player accept less pressure to dazzle.  I do think he will be moved and has already shown at Sevilla & Villarreal that there is plenty of quality in the player

They got no one who can come in and replace him right now anyway. They arent getting passed PSG regardless who comes in.

It was tongue in cheek, but seriously, I'd argue who'd do a worse job than him right now? They're barely winning any matches. It's not difficult to improve on what they're serving up.

Seriously though, this is not an Alcorcon result. Madrid should not exaggerate this result, and keep going with Zidane.
