Wasn't Jedi confirmed as an official religion because of the last census?

Yep, I'm a Jedi too. Felt a change from the theft of Pagan beliefs stuff they tried to force on me as a kid was needed

In England and Wales 390,127 people (almost 0.8%) stated their religion as Jedi on their 2001 Census forms, surpassing Sikhism, Judaism, and Buddhism, and making it the fourth largest reported religion in the country.[34] In the 2001 Census, 2.6% of the population of Brighton claimed to be Jedi. The percentages of religious affiliations were:

    Christian: 70%
    No religion: 16%
    Chose not to respond: 7.8%
    Muslim: 3.1%
    Hindu: 2.1%
    Jedi: 0.7%

I could put my religion on the census as Scarlett Johansson's Knicker Drawer. That doesn't make it an official religion.

How many of them genuinely mean it and how many did for the laugh? I remember that census, loads of people I know said they were going to put all sorts down for the religion bit.

I did it for a laugh. I hate the fact that I was christened/baptised/whatever it was without my permission and then they tried to force me to believe in imaginary things that make no sense.

Agree. Awful series of films and mindnumbingly poor “sci-fi”. Never liked it as a kid either. My bro loves it.

Still having a load of work to do on 23rd December.

And worrying that your Christmas shopping hasn’t been up to scratch.

Yeah, that’s shite when that happens. Happened to me several years ago, just had a call late December to announce there would be a bit of a restructure in the New Year. Why say anything? I’d rather they’d have just sprung it on us in the new year.

I already know January is going to be shite here so even though I have the week off from 30th Dec I’m not going to be able to completely relax.

Good luck to you chief.

Yesterday afternoon in Tesco  :butt :butt :butt :butt :butt

Far too busy some welt running up the isle with there kid in trolly going zig zag nearly hitting me. Exchanged a few words with him in the shop told my Mrs I had to get out far to busy. went to check out some young lad opening his till. A customer standing at his till waiting until he got onto his seat then starts unloading her trolley onto the belt. I put my 4 things at the back of the belt the anger and dirty look I got from her she took about 15 minutes I was seconds away from just leaving it on belt and walking out.

I used to work in retail I could never go back to that haha.

There was a time when I'd park hubby in the queue with an empty trolley then run round filling a basket, emptying that into the trolley then do it all over again till I'd got everything by which time he was already going through checkout.

Absolutely no way was I trying to navigate aisles so cluttered with piled up food, cages and other trolleys that you cant get through.

It's the first time in years that I've actually food shopped so close to Christmas I'd normally have done it a couple of days ago but no way do I venture near shops the weekend before.  7am this morning was bad enough.

See I'm normally shopping at 7.30am anyway as I go straight after walking the dogs and it's perfect.  Nobody in the shop and as you say plenty of stock.

I knew it wouldn't be like a normal morning but was surprised at how busy it was to be honest.

And whilst I'm having a moan wtf have they stopped putting the envelopes in the cellophane with greeting cards?  Dickheads!!

The majority of people in supermarkets this time of year need a slap. Half don't seem to know why they're there, just aimlessly wandering around blocking aisles. Most of the other half stocking up like the apocalypse is coming.
