He'll be lonely on that subs bench.

How did we get on?

Can’t find the result anywhere.

We've had the dream first leg away meaning we really shouldn't be risking anyone here. Mix of youth with some experience for minutes (Mo, Robbo and Dom)

United will be a mentally and physically demanding game on Sunday.

Just get through in both competitions without further injuries and it's been an excellent week.

Don’t have much choice at CB. After VVD, Gomez and Quansah the next in line is Carter Pinnington who only turned 17 three weeks ago.

This fella was on the bench at the weekend:

(but he's not eligible to play against Sparta)

Pinnington looks like a proper centre back too, could've called his position without knowing it beforehand.

Not sure Danns trained/has been seen alive since Forest so doubt he'll be involved, shame really as it looked a perfect game for him to come in and play, maybe even do 90 minutes. Pinnington seems to be highly rated so if we're ahead or level on the night at half time I'd bring him in for another debut.

Have there been any training pictures at all?

EDIT - Yes there have!
It looks to me as if we have signed another 'average' player. I'll hold back my complete opinion until I see the lad play

Slightly off topic but ive only just realised the final is not at Croke Park (82,000) but at the Aviva (52,000). Just Why ?.

Because GAA doesn't like non Gaelic sports played there I'd imagine?

Heard reports that UEFA are considering using a screen at the Pairc if 'large' teams get through to the final. Last time I was there was for the Garth Brooks concert so I guess if we get through we ain't going down till the sun comes up...

Hope that Harvey is nowhere near the pitch tonight. He's been absolutely flogged over the last month.

With the midfield injuries we have, Endo, Mac, and Elliott have played a lot football recently. Dom needs minutes, and then we have McConnell and Clark left. What’s Koumas’ best position? Shame Spearing’s banned

As you well know, domestic bans don’t affect Europe but I’m not sure that we included Jay on the UEFA A list and I have an idea he’s over 21 now so nothing doing with the B list either.
