Blessing Okagbare out of the 100m after being caught doping.

What time is the womens 200m final?

Edit - Ok I don’t even think it’s tonight, not sure why I thought it was

Edit 2 - Or is it tonight? Why is it daylight in Japan but nighttime in England? Something’s up here.

Innocent until proven guilty as far as I'm concerned.

It reminds me of the accusations from Everton and City fans during the 2019/20 season. We were so much better than everyone else that the only way their little brains could rationalise it was that we must have been doping.

I go in to it assuming everyone is doped. I assume footballers are as well, including ours.

With football they barely get tested and in most cases there is more money on the line. You better believe they are all at it.

No idea how you can enjoy watching sport if that's genuinely what you think but to each his own I suppose.

I find that very naive. We know for a fact that many still dope under huge scrutiny in cycling and athletics. To think it’s not happening in football is crazy. They get tested a few times a season if even that and the potential for making money is incredible when compared to other sports.

Do you think the players know they are doping? Or are rules somehow being broken without their knowledge?

If it’s the former, for me that’s where it falls down. There’s no way every single player (or let’s just say “most” if you’d prefer) in the top leagues has been doping and not a single one has come out and said something.

Good point. I did say I go into it assuming they all are. That’s a bit of a lie though because for the most part I don’t think about it.

There has been allegations of organised doping in Spain and from what I remember the courts ordered the bloods to be destroyed. For the most part I think it would be individuals taking it upon themselves. If it’s widespread in some sports why wouldn’t it be in others?

I don’t think football authorities want to have anything to do with cleaning it up. Same in rugby where it’s rampant.

Not sure how to feel about Australia winning all these medals in the pool. Really wanted that last race to go to the Canadian girl.

Time for Ledecky to slap down Titmus and put her in her place. This 800 will be a WR, I think.

Stunning try saving tackle from Fiji at the end of the first half.

It's Fiji 7-5 New Zealand at half time.

New Zealand score with 30 seconds left, then botch the restart and Fiji run up the other end and score!

17-17, extra time to be played.

New Zealand score! Heartbreak for Fiji, they'll have to settle for a chance at bronze. What an incredible match, nothing to separate them right until the very end.

France v GB to come in the other semi final.

Here we go then with the Mixed 4x100m Medley Relay. Going to be a very strange and intriguing spectacle this with countries choosing different combinations of men and women for the four strokes.

Britain have a great chance of a medal, maybe even gold if everything goes perfectly.

Just caught up on the women’s 7s. Brilliant stuff. Gutted for GB. I used to play 15s with a number of women who played 7s for Wales. It’s hard for me to comprehend that in a short 10-15 years the game has progressed from people who were not far off the same level as me, to someone like Jas Joyce who is an absolute superstar.

The NZ v Fiji game was 🔥🔥. I love the NZ women - they’re brilliant.

The bronze medal game up now. GB v Fiji. Sort of wouldn’t mind Fiji winning.

Every judge except the Argentinian gave the round to the Brit
