Depends what you mean? You can't buy a ticket if you don't have the required purchase history. If you mean you bought a child ticket but you look as old as Methuselah, you run the risk of being denied entry.

Can you expand upon this?

If you don't meet the criteria, the system should not allow you to buy a ticket. There have been instances where a system error has allowed tickets to be sold for matches without criteria (i.e. West Ham away couple years ago) and the club have allowed the buyer to keep the credit and ticket.

If you are saying you buy a concessionary ticket which you do not qualify for then the light at the turnstile will go a different colour and stewards will in most cases refuse entry and confiscate the members card/season ticket and the club could subsequently cancel all purchases associated with that card
