Probably the best player available, along with Beckenbauer. Only swerved him myself because I want to sort out some of the trickier letters out a bit earlier this time round.

Batigol's a good pick too, I was hoping he'd slip through.

Excuse me? You don't rate Best?

Of course I rate Best, I just don't think he was quite as good as Beckenbauer and Di Stefano. Not an insult like, I'd put the other 2 are amongst the top 5 or 6 players ever.

Good pick, KingLuis.

Its way too early to say this but you, Hazell and Crixalis are the favs for this draft, IMO.

Like I said, its too early but knowing Crixalis, KingLuis and Hazell, they would create top teams.

Haha. True. The key is not just pick the best players. The key is to pick the players who will attract maximum votes. In my first couple of drafts here, I had great teams but issue with it was I had players who weren't that famous or weren't that recent. So, I suffered in votings and lost in group stages/first round.

I'm certain that was the problem with my team in the Serie A draft.

Also, in the 11 from 11 draft I'm certain myself and KingLuis's team should have won that. We had a cracking team in it.

Lovely pick Psycho, had my eyes on him to partner Hierro or Gullit.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Back to you Rosso.

Was really tough that one, went for my favourite player Totti and Pep Guardiola. Main reason was I didn't fancy leaving the T and G until my next pick which is miles away at this stage. The other letters I have plenty of great options which should leave a few of them around.

Unbelievable list of defenders left.

I could have went for some brilliant attacking players with different letters but don't want to restrict myself.

Scanned through my list and the weakest depth in my opinion was left-back, so I picked the best one available - Facchetti.

Facchetti is a marvellous pick. I would've had him ahead of Zanetti were it not for Z being a bit more slim in terms of quality.

Cheers Dilks, delighted with him and I think most on here know about him. It's always the put-off with golden oldies but he seems recent enough; i.e. in colour :D

"He was a one-club man, representing Internazionale throughout their greatest years including the era dubbed “Grande Inter”. In total he played 634 official games and scored 75 goals. Facchetti is remembered as one of the first truly great attacking-full backs, and one of the best ever in his position."

Will do for me.

EDIT

Cheers fella.
