For two reasons: it will allow them to concentrate on the league, it will keep us in the cup hence distracting us from the league.

We're in a ridiculously congested period of the season. We have massive games in the league surrounding this round. Give us United... in the semi or the final. Fuck having them away when the draw is full of lower league clubs and we could do with resting our players and an easy tie.
