I thought that falling on the ball after an easy catch was a time wasting offence now? Ramsdale does it and I think the West Ham keeper yesterday too.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

It's strange to celebrate a narrow win like that on your second game of the season.

The celebrating every save and clearance is so weird

Proper cringe. They’re celebrating like they’ve won the league now. Nuts.

If we pay 70m for Doucoure we need our heads checking. Deeply average.

Alan Smith shouldn't do Arsenal games as he's biased as fuck

The other fella was clearly an Arsenal fan too. No idea who he was but kept making comments.

Yea that kinda the issue palace doesnt try and play through the midfield etc.

Probably not the game to assess him on, just has a bit of a lazy laid back look about him to me. I mean Yaya Toure had it too and he wasn’t too bad. But it’s penalty irrelevant as highly unlikely he’s leaving having played tonight.

I’d say I can’t wait to see Hodgson piss off again…but what’s the point? Along with Everton, the biggest unflushable turd going.
AHA!

Interesting to see how it plays out across the season - they seem overly hyped.

Nothing to fear with this Arsenal team anyway, that defence is shaky, we know Ramsdale is wank and the magic seems to have gone out of the frontline. We will twat them twice.

And it wont be a moment too soon either. Odious little lego wanker manager, diving twat players with that POS Partey still cosied up in the middle of them, bold as fucking brass.

Very good 3 points for Arsenal that .. tough game compounded by that daft as fuck red card....answered the question - can you do it on a Monday night at Crystal Palace?...which no one has ever asked...but still
They have life in them, they have humour, they're arrogant, they're cocky and they're proud. And that's what I want my team to be.

His time vs Lens is better view of what he can do on the ball then Palace.
His numbers show pretty well in terms of winning Duels %, his lens passing stuff really good.
His aerial duel % overall seems the issue.

I don't know how anyone can watch him and think he's good enough for us, let alone worth paying that amount of money for.

After two games?

I would be happy with a hard-fought away win with 10 men regardless of whether it is the 2nd or 33rd game of the season.
Meh...

It was, under the circumstances anyone would be made up with the full 3 points. Annoying like, but big for them.

Largely down to Declan Rice, always in the right place to make a block or a clearance.

We were down to 9 not 10… Havertz doesnt really count..

Imagine buying chelsea players and thinking theyll turn out to be anything other than a joke.

I dunno Salah worked out fine for us, maybe it's the coaching?

He was ex Chelsea.
He wasn't there long enough to be infected too much and he spent time in Rome and Florence to get some art, culture and history into him and purge him of any Monied Millwallity he had contracted.
