WTF!

I get the 16:00 wankfest for Sky on the last Sunday..

But this Saturday FOUR games kicking off at 12:45 (!)

And on Sunday FOUR games kicking off at 16:00(!!)

Shite. Utter. Utter shite.

Last game of the bastard season at home on a fucking Sunday again so I've got to take the bastard Monday off. Fuck off Sky you fucking twats.

The FA Cup final is on the telly. No club will want to schedule a fixture that clashes with that, I guess that they fear that some people are a bit more interested in the FA Cup final than you think. It's not ideal but its about as decent a solution as you could get to a shit situation. Should be no other games this weekend really.

Is this FA Cup final been moved forward because of the European Cup final being at Wembley? Seems much earlier than normal.

Seperate note and probably been discussed before but does anyone else hate that the semi finals of the cup are played there, for me it takes away the shine. Isn't part of getting to the final about the priveldge of playing in that stadium.

Totally hate the idea of Semis at Wembley, the joy of going to Wembley for the first time was to see your team in the final, yet fans of teams now get to go there just for the semis, totally ruins the magic

Yes it is mate. UEFA demand that the host stadium is "clean" for two weeks before the CL final so that the marketeers and other leeches can go in and install the comfy seats and sponsored massage parlours for the "UEFA Football Family". Makes me sick.

Yes! It's this time of year. My first poll of the year.

Time has moved on and football hasn't moved with it. The refs are worse. The head of referees has made them so bad that you'd say the last few years they were 'shite' instead of 'complete shite'

Today we have an absolute shithouse twat reffing us that you know for a fact will fuck us over.

On top of that, it's another home game with another shithouse kick off time on a freezing Saturday morning. The atmosphere will be shite. It's hard enough me getting there on time and I only live around the fucking corner. Those poor people that have had to travel down with the chaos in the UK you have to feel sorry for.

Of our league games this season, we've had the following games at non fucking stupid fucking kick off bastard times:

LFC v Bournmouth
LFC v Brighton
LFC v Southampton
Brighton v LFC

So out of 18 games, fucking 4 of them at a sensible kick off time.

It's hard to say how many decent kick off times we'll have in the games to come as they decide many of them later on (Thus further disrupting those poor people that have to travel to Liverpool and having to sort transport and accomodation), but it looks likely that the above number isn't going to get any better anytime soon.

I suppose 12:30 on a Saturday (As shite as it is), is better than these fucking weird late Saturday or random Sunday kick offs, or the crap 20:00 games after everyone has been working.

I don't even get what the TV companies expect to get out of it. Everyone today will be moaning about the time, no one will have gone for a pint. It'll be freezing, the atmosphere will be as flat as fuck and everyone will just be waiting for full time so they can fuck off to the pub and get warm.

Chelsea new years day, mid 2000s was the worst atmosphere, something like half eleven kick off or some shit like that, everyone was fucked.

I turned down taking my kids the Wolves game as I just couldn't be arsed with an 8pm kick off on a Saturday night, don't get home until half 11 on night matches, day totally gone. In 2010, I was struggling with the shite, new baby costs, then I got a run of 8pm Monday night games and it broke me and I stopped going the game after nearly 40 years.

Mates who live down south jacked as it was messing up weekends too much, especially the night games.

It's all about telly though so will never change

Agree with not a great, at least away fans have probably had a few on the way up but we have had an early Saturday kick off for at least 20 years now, probably a bit more than that.

At least they’re set at 12.30 these days. Pretty sure I went to see us at Old Trafford once and it was 11.15 or 11.30. That was ridiculous.

Certainly 7.45pm or 8pm Saturday night is a stupid kickoff time, but early kickoffs have been going on for years, we had games at 11.30am, not just against United either, i remember Leeds home on Good Friday 2001 with an 11.30am kickoff, early home kickoffs were the norm on Grand National day too.

Early/late kicks offs should be against local sides to ensure the away fans can get public transport home. Bournemouth's first ever away game in the league was a trip to Anfield on a Monday night.
