Bit of a mad one here.

I've been watching this snooker shootout because I'm a) ill and b) a sad twat.

Player called Fergal O'Brien has looked impressive in both games. Beat Hendry (and backed him at 40s after that) and Carter today.

The way this game goes, anyone can win. Ronnie has looked pretty good but a bad 10 minutes will see him out. This O'Brien seems just as likely to have a good 10 minutes as anyone. It's also a random draw, done on the day, so a favourable few ties could see him in with a real chance.

25/1 with Stan James. Definitely worth a punt.

Think there's anyway he could get back into it?

8-1 at the moment...

Down to 5s after he wins a couple of games. Waiting for Djokovic to win the second set so they drift back out again to get a bit of value...

I know it doesn't start for a while but India (it's being played in India) to win the cricket world cup seems a good bet 3/1, double this up with Nadal for the French Open at 1/2....if he is fit he is unbeatable on clay.

One of my Sporting Life 'Nag me' alerts have alerted me to a horse ive been waiting for to run again.

Resuscitator in the 18:30 at Wolverhampton. Won impressivley over 1M at Lingfiled last time out and stepping up from a class 6 to class 5 shouldnt make too much difference.

Favourite Jocky Eddie Ahern onboard I really do fancy this and 17/2 is mighty generous in my opinion  (famous last words).

Get in!!!!! What a ride from Ahern on Resuscitator.

Gutsy horse that. The fav fucking up in the stalls helped out like.

Anyhow, £50 quid at 9.6 makes me a happy man after those Portugese bastards Guimaraes let me down for 400 notes last night.

Rugby tonight.

I think with Wales available at 3.2 on Betfair, it's worth a small amount, can easily lay it if the price comes in which I expect if/when Wales start the game well.

Not quite, they drew their last but one, but yeah, they haven't won in a while although those 6/7 games were against the top 3 sides in the world.

I know England are down to 14 but I'm not confident so I've managed to lay it at the same price luckily when Wales nearly scored just then.
