Is there any chance we can apply for Anfield (the ground not the area!
) to be listed as an area of environmental importance?
Lets look at the facts:
*The Kop is home to at least 3 pigeons and at least 2 bats
Other parts of the ground will no doubt be homes for similar animals plus all the insects etc. Plus the turf provides much needed oxygen to the local population.
Knocking down the ground could seriously affect the environment and i seriosuly believe the Anfield habitat is a thriving breeding ground and should be protected.
Anyone who says the new ground will provide the same benefits is talking poo.
