On the one hand, this showing plus Arsenal recent run show that Wenger is still a capable manager who can set his team to play in an effective way, on the other, it makes you question why he didn't try to change his system much sooner when their season was unraveling in February and March.

They probably would have finished third if he changed his system much sooner.

well our performances in the fa cup have been shit for a while. We won the FA cup twice in the last 16 years, if they win today, this would be their 3rd in 4 years.

Our league and EC record kind of cushions the blow.

Even at our all conquering height in late 70s / early 80s we didn't win it.
