New Balance are a fucking savage company IMHO. Let's face it, they're not likely to jump the shark on this one. I fully expect design ninjas the likes of which the kit thread fellas have never seen to be all over this like white on rice.

Savage company? - Jump the shark? - Design Ninja's? - White on Rice? What on earth are you on about?

Amazing deal in monetary terms, but i don't like change  :-\.

Using the money for *insert quality player* will however go a long way in easing said problem  :)

You don't like THE change or you just don't like change in general?

If you don't like change in general this universe may not be the right one for you.

The flying V was a tactical masterstroke.

Kenny can learn from that.

Plus we might be looking for a new goalie this summer and Goldberg would be perfect

Put it this way, one years sponsorship is enough to buy a Suarez and a promising youth. Happy days. Anyone think the kits might eventually end up more American looking though? I'd imagine that would be considered to try and help us break the American market.

I'm damn sure Ian Ayre will make sure there is a British based designer working in tandem on the design, or as an advisor to the Warrior company!!

Absolutely NO FOOKING way will Kenny let his boys run out at Anfield looking like THE MIGHTY DUCKS!!!!

Would he go quackers?

Why is everybody kicking up a fuss over the design? Every football kit followes a generic style with minor difference in material, collar design etc.

Jesus mate give it a rest, eh? Is Adi Dassler your grandad or something? So there wont be three stripes, big deal. It's just three white stripes.

Some of LFC's greatest moments came in just a plain red kit.  5 cups from somewhere in Europe to start with. ;)

They have translated from Halmstads to Malmo, to Orebo to Neuchatel Xamax, to the Swiss national team, so I find the question insulting.

I imagine they'll go through and look at what the other companies are doing for football shirts, and they'll do something similar.  They're not going to send our players out in over sized hockey shirts or sleeveless basketball shirts or something.

To be fair, when Sami scored that, I was sitting in the Kop thinking how much better it'd be if he had the three stripes on his shirt. Took some of the gloss of it for me.

Delighted with this, with the caveat that I would like to read the small print and the article.

With the FPP coming in, it is vital to maximise commercial revenues.

I hope they use Kitster as a designer of the shirt, nice and simple.

We are the brand tho.
$25m is great for us, but Warrior are the real winners.

Disagree. Adidas and Nike take over most sport shops in the world.

Yes I know Liverpool are massive but Warrior will have it's work cut out getting the top in prime position in stores due to Adidas/Nike control and getting the top in other stores etc.

Only winners here are LFC - 100m.
