Personally, I would've played a diamond with Prosinecki and Effenberg in the middle, Baggio as the 10 and then Ronaldo and Robbie up front.  Prosinecki isn't a right winger at all, has he ever even played there once?

Yup, everyone in their best positions except for maybe Ronaldo, but he pretty much plays as a centre forward anyway.

While obviously, Prosinecki wasn't your typical pacey right-winger, he usually drifted to wide areas where he could use his amazing dribbling and speed on the ball to beat his man and deliver some great balls. He also would cut in and play some great passes between the line or play some one-twos. He would be used similarly to what Nick does with Zidane or how Spain used David Silva in their world cup win, but I think Prosinecki is way better suited for that role, as he was more effective on wide areas.
