In John Henry's & Tom Werner's pockets.

Can you honestly see us signing the kind of a world class players ala Suarez or Sanchez that elevates us from being a top four contender to a title contender if we qualify to the CL.

United & Chelsea proven this year that no matter where they finish, they will always sign a certain type of players, that statement is also true to us but applies in a different way.

Nah you're right, only in some forbidden dream would a player like Suarez play for Liverpool
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

And I will ask the question again when have we ever done this in our history? Kenny is probably the one who comes closest and even then he was signed from Celtic not Real Madrid.
I'd say Torres was.  Mascherano too maybe, we got an absolute steal there.

Hull playing well here. For how good Kante is supposed to be; Huddleston and Myler are passing it through their midfield pretty easily...

It's a sign of how solid Chelsea are that at 1-0, they hardly ever look like they could let the lead slip.

It's hard to say the same for ourselves.

Don't forget the ''Antonio Antonio Antonio'' and ''Jose Mourinho Jose Mourinho Jose Mourinho'' such spectacular mind blowing creativty, the thick fucking c*nts. They even nicked the Torres banner with the Shankly gates when he signed for them.

To buy world class players you need to compete in the CL, be winning titles or pay massive wages. We tick none of those boxes so we're of no interest to world class players.

I'd say Torres was.  Mascherano too maybe, we got an absolute steal there.

Torres wasn't elite level world class when we signed him. He was well on his way there but he wasn't a star of world football, he was at about the same level as Suarez. Mascherano couldn't get a game for West Ham and had played a grand total of about 60 league games for River plate and Corinthians before we signed him. Neither of them are comparable to Sanchez when he left Barca.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.
