Rubys in the ambulance, hope it's nothing serious!

Bad luck after coming back from the leg break as well  :-\

Looked a bad one at the time like, really unlucky the way the horse came down on him.

Lost with Black Ops (knew I should have gone with the safe bet of Samcro!), just won with Presenting Percy, so about a £110 up for yesterday and today.

There's a special with SkyBet: Altior to win the 15.30 Champs chase and Barca to beat Chelsea @ 5/2 so popped my £10 free bet on that.

Any tips for the 14.50? No immediate favourites.

Douvan now out from 3/1 to 6/1. That a reaction to Ruby's fall?

Mine for tomorrow:

2:50 - I'm three pronged here all at big prices. Firstly Diamond King is only 1lb higher than when winning this race 2 years ago, he ran a blinder behind Kilultagh Vic last time out and will have been primed for this. I then like two Mullins horses in Voix Du Reve & Bleu Berry. The former was running a huge race in the Fred Winter before falling at the last two years ago. He's been running over 3 miles which I don't think has suited him, a drop to a mid range trip for the first time should be right up his street and I expect a big run. Bleu Berry is a proper mud lark, his last run last season was in a Grade 1, there must be a reason Willie thought he was capable of running in that standard of race. Unfortunately for him it was run on good ground, before that he had been unbeaten all season on heavy. He's been given one prep run and I'm sure prepped for this race with the ground now truly in his favour.

Oh you absolutely beauty!! Great shout mate

It wasnt stone dead last but you'd need your bookie to pay 22 places to get anything back

There were 4 Also-Rans who finished after yours.  (one of the fuckers was mine!! :))

Well there were 26 runners in total.

There is probably a short list of "also rans" at the end of the result you are looking at. They perhaps got pulled up before finishing.

Mine for tomorrow:

1:30 - Terrefort - I love this horse. He's a big raw chaser but he'll love the ground and I don't think the Mullins fav is up to much, should be a comfortable fav for this in my opinion.

2:10 - Sort it Out - Loved his trial to get in here, a big chaser type that I'd like for a Grand National one day. The ground should really bring his stamina in to play here.

2:10 - Protek Des Flos - Has a lovely weight here, still relatively unexposed and looks a proper mud lark, should relish in these conditions.

2:50 - Cue Card - I think the ground is right up his street, he stays a lot further which will also help. Only horse in his class here is Un De Sceaux, I don't think he fully gets this trip and won't have Ruby on his back, no brainer for me.

:30 Sam Spinner - Just think he's the best least exposed horse in the race quite simply and will love conditions.

3:30 - The New One - Small bet on this fell, is a class horse but no idea if he will get the trip. He will love the ground.

4:10 - The Last Goodbye - Ran a blinder in the novice handicap last season and looked outpaced, I think the different ground this season will really help with that. He ran really well last time out and should love conditions.

5:30 - Pendra & Mall Dini - Pendra ran a stormer last year and has O'Connor on his back. Mall Dini plotted out for it with Mullins on his back. Simple.

Did ok on day 1, mainly from Summerville Boy and Hills double payout offer, and a small bet on Benie Des Dieux, but bombed a bit today, only winner was Presenting Percy.

Hoping i can do better the last 2 days.

I see Paddy Power have brought their "Money back if fav wins and your horse loses" offer for tomorrow but the crafty gits have ruled out the 4:50 with a 8/13 fav.   :butt

Been quite a bit of rain overnight so the ground is gonna be very testing. You need a good finisher up the hill at the best of times but stamina is the name of the game today.

Word from the owner of Missed Approach in the 5:30:

'Had a breathing op which could bring out some improvement. If he runs close to last years form in the NH Chase, where he was beat only by Tiger Roll who franked form yesterday, then he will win the race. If it rains he will deal with the ground.'

Was due to be running in the Midlands GN tomorrow but Greatrex feels he has a great chance in this

Noel McParlan on board again who gave him brilliant ride last year. This horse stays all day and I'll be on this EW in the Kim Muir.

Even though it's a waste of money, along with my normal bets im going to have to have a tenner double of Forza Milan and Mall Dini today because if it comes in and I'd thought about it and I'd not punted on it, it might take me the rest of the year to recover.
