I sometimes don't know what game people watch. He's hitting them low, getting them on target, taking them early. He's doing everything right. The xg for all his shots won't be that high. They weren't golden chances.

Pretty much every shot he has is on target, and he can put incredible power on his shots. That shot on the 43rd was great. Exact right time to take the shot to not get closed down, power from no where, and on target despite being a long way out.

You give him enough chances, he is bound to score a bunch because he gets so many shots on target - sheer numbers would result in goals

His movement is brilliant though, i'm not worried about him at all, he'll come good.

Reminds me of Cavani who always had great movement. He'll get the goals as long as he gets the minutes.

It was like this for him in preseason. Once he scored they just kept going in.

Think I said this at that time too. He is putting all of his chances on target, which is a lot less frustrating than constantly seeing chances drubbed or shots going far and wide.

It's not 'very' skill based though. It is skill based sure. But shot location and volume matters way more than 'finishing ability' or 'composure' or whatever.
