genuinley wouldn’t waste my time with any of those 3pm kick-offs.  Not one that’s even vaguely intriguing.

And just 1 Sunday game!

Luton getting their first win of the season would be highly entertaining.

;D  If it was at Kenilworth Road I’d maybe make an effort to watch a bit of it!  But the Bloos are flying don’t ya know! Going for the 3 match win streak  :P

Wouldn't surprise me. Crystal Palace almost fully rotated their backline and didn't use Edouard or Eze.

Mad how often teams seem to play each other in a midweek cup game and then again at a weekend.

79/80 always sticks with me. In April we played Arsenal 5 times in just under 3 weeks. 12th was the FA Cup Semi Final, then we were home to them on the 19th. We played a Replay on the 16th, a Replay on the 28th and then lost the 4th game on the 1st May

Villa playing at 12.30 despite playing Wed night. I know they made changes but it just shows how shameless TNT are.

Brighton also played Wed Night. the rule for CL games for that however it still very unideal. There should be more games on Sunday for the EL teams  for more rest however I think NFL game also doesnt help

Probably planned to be honest

The telly games were picked before the European draws were made so Arsenal, the mancs and the sportswashers were always going to be playing Saturday this week, closing stages of the Ryder cup Sunday afternoon so no point putting our game on in the 16.30 slot, could've maybe put Everton v Luton or West Ham v Sheffield Utd on then but the viewing figures would've been shite unless Everton were losing and loads of reds tuned in to hear the booing

Brighton also played Wed Night.
Good point, I missed that.

So what this shows is that while BT/TNT have to stick to the letter of the 'No Wed night/Sat 12.30 scheduling' rule for European games, they don't actually care a jot about why the rule was brought-in in the first place (thanks to Klopp) and will break the spirit of the rule whenever they are able to. Twats.

It still not ideal for Domestic stuff but it overall less travel which  is part.
It would be way smarter for TV to schedule round 5-8 after the European draws and Cup draws would help everybody, idk if that enough notice at least round 5 for the fans/TV etc.

Villa were showing signs just before they scored, probably should be 2 up. Brighton need a bit more work defensively perhaps.

2-0 now.

It’s hard for Brighton without Caicedo and MacAllister. Their midfielder looks a bit lightweight now and they’re getting murdered in transition. Need more athleticism in there.
