United should finish 2nd, Arsenal should win theirs. City's group is Europa League level as usual, we'll get something like that tomorrow.

Who knows about Newcastle. The teams they've got are probably quite overrated I feel. PSG are usually billy big bollocks in the group stages though. Dortmund are massive chokers and AC Milan fluked their way to the semis I feel. Could finish that in any order.

Hope Sevilla come 2nd in that Arsenal group. Be arsed with them in the Europa.

Feel like Group C is tougher group, Madrid and Napoli.

Went pretty well for us regarding europa drop outs. Newcastle's group is a bit annoying as can't be arsed with them or a potential trip to Paris again after last time but they might end up top two anyway.

Man City have young boys.

What a soft group they have, as per.

More annoyed that Arsenal and United shoukd get through too. Although is it better they get through and not go much further than drop down into our turf?

Newcastle have a tall order you’d think.

Can’t complain, looks like an EL group, we finished above PSV in our EL group last season. No excuses we really should win our group.

Going to be honest, I think barring any big surprises the quality of sides dropping down to the Europa League will be very negotiable for the sides already in that with aims of winning it (IE Liverpool)

City and Arsenal will go through, United probably finish above Galatasaray and Copenhagen too. Newcastle's tougher but could end up anywhere, PSG probably top that group.

Sevilla will still manage to end up third in theirs!

That's my worry. Ordinarily they're better than PSV but they look weaker than they have done in their Europa League winning era right now. Lens aren't a bad team though either.

Sevilla are European royalty (even if they’re more like the Prince Andrew of the family). But you and them should have more than enough to get through.

One of Newcastle's group will be the strong team to drop into the Europa (assuming no surprises elsewhere). Other groups look weak.

Arsenal and City's group is a bit of a joke really and United and Bayern should both be through with a game or two to spare. The standard seems to get worse every year (given the PL and now Saudi leagues drain everyone else of their talent).

The usual boring groups that will just be a case of what order the 2 best teams finish in, and maybe a couple interesting groups that’d might be worth watching if you’ve got nothing better to do.

PSG aren't that good but would expect them to win it, Mbappe alone probably does the business. We're quite a bit better than Dortmund and Milan and I can't be arsed with Newcastle again so one of those two dropping down will do, ideally Dortmund as defensively they're suspect. This is just assuming we cross paths with one of them down the line.

It is time to change the format tbf, the group stages get more and more tedious, but UEFA as usual come up with a worse format to kick in next year and of course it means more games.

It’s clear Newcastle are new to this and don’t understand how the brown envelopes work here.

City has this process nailed down.

City will have a tougher run in the FA Cup than that. Newcastle to get twatted back into their box, surely.

Cant see anything bar the usual suspects getting to the later stages. Ho hum.

Don’t think Newcastle will do that badly…

But it takes time to learn how to ride the punches of European football.  They have very little experience as a club, and a fan base… and Howe has none at all.

They seem to be selling a player every day Sevilla. They’re not even as good as they were last week in the super cup.

Icardi is their best player but I don't think they have a clue how to use Zaha yet. Kerem another Turkish forward to keep an eye on, he is a rising star, their best midfileder is ex Arsenal player Toreira imo.

I watched Galatasaray against Molde Norway in the qualifiers, and they were very lucky to go through.. Icardi was excellent, and they have a couple of playes with good individual skills, but as a team - it is some of the worst I have seen on this level.. Playing a high in defence; no pressure on the opposition - and players just disapperaring from time to time.. They could be up for some real thrashing if they don't sort out this
It’s not even about individuality, it’s about the team. Our game was based on his controlling of the tempo. Squeeze the life out of the opposition and then strike. That is our game. Like a pack of pythons.
