I wanted to post earlier but had to wait for activation as to an evaluation for Henderson.
I had a season ticket the year we had him on lone at Coventry, seeing as I couldn't get up to Anfield week in week out - The fans really took to him and was a very, very exciting player. He also is very down to earth, I had the privilege of meeting him a few times and he also attended an open day with the fans - he was the biggest hit, although on loan at the time.
Now down to business. He played wide right for us, and although people believe he is just has an engine and is someone who will keep the gaming running over, he loves getting forward and trying to beat a player. His close control is fantastic and we were baffled by the star quality which we were seeing at an otherwise constant mediocre set up - however seeing as I watch all football his quality was relevant. However later on through the loan, we suffered a few injuries in the middle of the park and he moved there and added a lot more technical stability to us, he kept the passing simple however he was only 18 at the time so. He scored his first goal for us against Norwich and we were over the moon with him, only to go and fracture his foot.
To show that amount of quality, although in a lower league at 18 was very exciting and I knew he would make the step up to a bigger club - and I am glad it is our club because I feel he will be a valued asset in the years to come. He has full premiership season under is belt now, and his quality is obvious. He will succeed here, but I don't think he is anything like Lucas in my opinion.
