I always wanted the Commodore 64. We ended up with an Amstrad after some prick told my dad it was more educational.
We had a ZX81 first of all though. Most of the time you were happy if the games loaded let alone were any good

As I get older, the last thing I want to be reminded of is my mortality, I don't want to know who has died, unless its family. While on holiday in Cyprus last month, my wife hid from me until I straight up asked, that one of my Aunties (Dads sister) had died - she then said "Whos Joan?" when I said one of his other sisters, she told me she died the same day of a heart attack.

I think I did something similar but wrote Nick Woz Ere on an Andrea’s on display in Dixons. Looked back at the screen and it had repeated enough times to fill the whole screen. Bought my Donkey Kong 2 hand held game and made a sharp exit, pausing only to check the football scores on the TV in the window. Glory days.
