Happy for the women’s game in this country especially considering they werent allowed to even play until 1970 but the news won’t be worth watching for about a week.

Best thing about that match was the lack of boos in the anthems.

Some miserable fuckers on here.

The men’s team are hard to like because we know half the players are dicks and the fans that follow them likewise. These girls have had to work their way up, nothings come easy, probably aren’t primadonas and the crowd are more families and not coked up wankers.

Well done to them all. That was great. Really couldn’t see England scoring til they did.

Exactly and that is why I am completely behind this team. They've had to fight to even be allowed to play football, when I was kid we were never allowed to and it shit to high heaven. Even a few years ago the footballing authorities were still living in pre historic times with regards to women and football. So, if some are wondering why people like me are behind this lot, it's as much about what they've had to do to get their chance to play some football. Learn some history.
