So NESV seem to have decided to keep Roy in charge for Saturday, thinking this is the best method of getting a result against Bolton, despite the Liverpool fans calling for the managers head for the first time since god knows when.

I do not know what else Roy can do to get sacked - he has dragged us into our first relegation battle for 57 years and publicly slated the fans for not supporting him.

Thanks for spitting in the fans faces NESV, much appreciated. You may be listening, but at least we now know how much you value the supports collective opinion. If you think keeping Roy here is best for the club then you really do have a hell of a lot to learn about football.

Why the fuck hasn't he need sacked?

Patience is a virtue, yes. But fuckinghell, there's an almost universal consensus that this owl-faced blert is doing our club harm.

How hard is it to see?

Honestly if they don't act before Saturday I'm afraid they likely won't have much choice after Saturday. I suspect the fans at Anfield will give him a slaughter, especially if we have a similar performance, whether we win or not.

What the fuck is going on? Why is he still in post? He should've been fucked right off on Wednesday night.

God knows what tatically innovation he'll have drilled into the team in preparation for the Bolton game. Ngog will be centre half or something equally bizzare.

It is going to be brutal tomorrow, Roy is going to get ragged.

Could the mods make a simple "should Roy be sacked?" poll with just yes or no options? (not overcomplicated).  I know the question is now somewhat rhetorical, but I think it would really compliment this message.

Dear John,

It's NOT alright to be 3 points off the bottom.

It's NOT alright to be losing to 2 of 3 teams who got promoted from Division 1 this season.

It's NOT alright to be issuing post-match/mid-week half-wit comments about the state of mind of the supporters and what they are/aren't obligated to do.

It's NOT alright to be telling the protestors who were fighting to save the club that they are unwanted during match's.

It's NOT alright to be telling the media and the supporters to "judge me after 10 games" only to then discover in December we have had the WORST start in the history of the club over the last 40 years!

It's NOT alright to be sitting 3rd from bottom in November with a squad that finished 6th last season in what was an injury plagued and politically charged behind the scenes season in Rafa's worst season at the club.

It's NOT alright NOT to qualify for europe next season.

It's NOT alright to play the tactics you do Roy because its clearly NOT working and FAILING. Its DULL, BORING and PATHETIC. It is suited for a club that is aiming to finish mid table but not for a club like Liverpool who aspires to challenge for trophies and a league title.

It's NOT alright to be dragging small issues (Ayala/Liverpool vs Hull) into the media spotlight when it does neither club any good. There are more pressing issues to worry about. Ayala has gained VALUABLE first team experince. If Ayala is so valuable, what about Wilson? Agger? Aren't they ahead of Ayala in the squad?

It's NOT alright to be trying to sign mid table/average players like Charlton Cole. It's EMBARRASSING.

It's NOT alright to be bullshitting the supporters that Man Utd were lucky to have won at Old Trafford when quite rightly. were were SHITE for all of 85 minutes and lucky not to be 4-0 down at half time!

It's NOT alright to be out played for 75% of a match against the likes of Blackpool, Birmingham, Sunderland, Wolves (90 minutes!) and Northampton. It's EMBARRASSING.

It's NOT alright to be slagging off your team when its YOUR training sessions, YOUR coach's, YOUR tactics, YOUR line up's and YOUR decision making that has resulted in a squad that had the MOST number of premier league players at the world cup last summer and finished 6th in the league last season.

I can/could go on...........but I think you get my POINT why the longer he stays, the worse things are going to get. This has to rank as one of the most embarrassing episodes in my life time following Liverpool Football Club after the signings of Julian Dicks and Paul Stewart.

If ever there was an anti-climax to the start of a football season in recent times, it has to be the appointment of Roy Hodgson. Many knowledable supporters already knew when the season started what would transpire. And how awful it feels to be proven right about a man who hasn't got a clue what it takes to manage a world class team and who is a winner.

He has to go.

...... Out of good faith, we ground our teeth to see if you could shock and surprise us. And shock and surprise, you didn't.
To be honest I expected him to be poor but I am still shocked and surprised at just how poor he's turned out to be. I would not have imagined it possible that this Liverpool squad could be quite so badly managed. Not by Roy, not by anybody.

I want Rafa Back :( so we can stop losing against relegation teams and beat the mancs and Play gerrard behind torres, and have the spirit of the Club as a priority to the man in charge, not Medias positive spotlight,

and Fuck Carra as well, i Don't give a fuck how much of a legend he is, Maybe if he's fucking poor judgment wasn't so fucked up we wouldn't end up with this wanker, He wanted English manager and respect for the club now he haves relegation battle and a joke.

Yeah, get your nominations in folks...

Nah, seriously, I just wanted to address the increasing impatience on here as to people asking why he had not been sacked already by attempting to illustrate how difficult the position they have inherited is.  There are good reds in that thread who have followed this club for years and they don't know what they'd do right now.  What chance have Fenway got?

They could literally do anything and no doubt it would be better. Henry could probably do a better job himself

But Kev, surely you can't believe Roy should get until the end of the season? I believe we have a fairly high quality squad but that doesn't appear to matter, we're having teams boss us at Anfield? even when we lost under Rafa at home we were never bossed for 90min.

seems John Henry & Co have sent their message to all the hacks lastnight as the stories all have one common theme: on the lines of:

Dalglish in at least till the summer. If the owners can't promise anything beyond that, BE HONEST with Kenny from the start. If he is willing to accept the role and the fact its only till the summer when the owners can re-evaluate the situation, then fair enough.

But something has to give. And Roy clearly needs to go sooner rather than later.

This is what we do. And we do it very well. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bM8gOyjeuc

On the one hand, NESV's considered stance is to be admired in some respects. Its success with its other sport franchises certainly didn't arise from knee-jerk reactionary moves. However, in this instance, even while under the guise of being novices to the game of soccer and adjusting to the learning curve, there's a point where prudent caution crosses the divide and turns into willful negligence. That time is now, and Hodgson's painful tenure must be ended sooner rather than later before Liverpool's assets depreciate further.

I'm fairly worried about the future in general. Our fanbase seems to have changed in attitude and levels of patience over the last 3-4 years (I am including myself in this too) FSG just have to get it right this time so I can understand them taking a bit of time over it. The fact that Hodgson is struggling so badly really throws a spanner in the works for them. If they get it wrong god knows what is going to happen. Let's all hope for the best eh?

have you not heard ? one of the best managers in the world lives on the Wirral and is available right now. You understand why they have to take time over making a decision?, well seeing as they are supposed to be top business people I wonder about that, you see the list of people not wanting Roy as our manager has grown steadily from his first day in office. NESV knew this from the start (when the SLFC lads went to meet John Henry) That list now stands at about 100% give or take a few mentally challenged. We do not have a devine right to stay in the Pemiere League and anymore losses in the next group of fixtures could see us battling to survive, maybe Mr Henry has heard of the parachute payment and wouldn't mind us dropping down a league, he would reduce the wage bill drastically and no blame could be laid at his door.

If the above scenario is believable, I think Rafa would love the challenge
