Haha, that would be a bearded Steve Rogers.

Oh right, thanks, thought it was some new character, didn't realise they had binned off the previous actor.

I'm not, I had no idea it was the same bloke till I just re watched it. Its the beard and change of outfit that fooled me. I only know these characters from when I read comics in the 70s, didn't know he ever had a beard.

Fair enough. Also it's the same actor, he's been in hiding for a while and according to movies the best thing to do in hiding is grow a beard.

Well it certainly fooled me. His outfit looks almost black. I'm a bit of a traditionalist, changing all their costumes seems odd to me, Captain America is a lighter blue, always was, always will be. Looking through that clip  it looks like Iron Man has a new look. I guess they are looking more like the modern comic book look.

Anyway, the film looks great.

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Maybe not seeing Ant-Man in the trailer means he isn't in this, Thanos kills everyone, and then in the next one it starts with a heist - Ant-Man stealing the time stone and bringing everyone back.

This is all pure speculation

I would kill off Gamora and Tony Stark.

Most attached to Cap of the main heroes, he's had the best arc in the MCU by far. It wouldn't be a bad stopping point and  Bucky is well placed to take over.

Just hope there are lots of tears.

I expect Dr Strange to bring back any major dead character. Could lose some of the sidekicks permanently though, Bucky being an obvious candidate.
Maybe the group, led by your leadership, will see these drafts as PR functions and brilliant use of humor

Ticket for opening day is booked!

Trailer looks great, hoping anyone who does die stays dead so it has some meaning. Could be an absolute blood bath.

Guys, these films are largely aimed at kids. It's okay if they don't brutally murder the main characters you know

No one ever stays dead in comics. I think the last character left dead is Uncle Ben now, even Thomas Wayne has made several alt-world appearances and of course Bucky and Jason Todd came back in a big way 10 years ago.

The stakes are not high enough usually in those films - whole cities are levelled and our heroes don't lose anything. Know where you are coming from (I have a 4 year old who loves Marvel) but this is the one where stakes are higher...presumably, otherwise Thanos is not much kop!

Quicksilver dies in Ultron.  I always forget about that, even though it was a really nice bait and switch with Hawkeye.  Who I don't remember seeing in any of the Infinity War promo stuff yet.

I get that. But I'm just a bit bored of the "someone needs to die" arguments about these films. They're superhero, comic films for kids, I don't expect the main characters to die. Sure it'd add some weight and stakes but I'm not going to throw cheap shots at these films just cos they don't fancy showing beloved characters being butchered.

By the way, quite a few people have died in the MCU so far so I'm not even sure it's an entirely fair criticism. Here's a list of them

Spoiler
Yondu
Groot (yep, he's dead, just cos we've got baby Groot doesn't stop Groot being totally dead)
Coulsen (not arsed about Agents of Shield, he's dead in the MCU)
Agent Parker
Quicksilver
Both Thor's parents (oh and Asgard was destroyed)

I don't want Ironman to die, he was the main reason I got into the Marvel movies where for me it all started in 2008, I like the character also.
Then again I also prefer Andrew Garfield's Spider Man so I guess it's all about opinions, and maybe other issues regarding the actual actors themselves.
Wherever my boy is that's where I want to be.
