Considering the absolutely shocking start we've had, I think it's telling that we're only 2 points off 4th place. And in fact not that far off the Utd/Arsenal chasing pack.  I know we all want to be winning the title but given our injury challenges that's not too bad.

Chin up lads, we're almost there and that point today was important.  Mood could be very different after Tuesday if we can beat Debrecen and Lyon get something against Fiorentina.

I agree. There comes a point, after 1 win in 10, when it's actually pointless. We've just got to sit it out and hope it gets better sadly.

I was going to start a Debrecen v Liverpool thread but with everyone being so fucking over the moon, feeling chuffed to bits and having a general air of Fandabbydoseyness, I didn't have the heart to bring everyone down and start one.

how can you cheer yourself when our best striker is out injured, stuttering form, captain isn't 100%, most creative player isn't 100%, big summer signing isn't playing, my favorite player got carried away with concussion..

though i admit the video did lighten me a bit..

New year = Torres fit, Gerrard fit, Aquafresh recovered, Yossi fit, Johnson fit, Riera fit, Carra and skrtel sort out their defensive issues

And a new striker to backup Torres.

Sounds like a good 2010!
