The Mancs sure know how to pick them.

What's the point of him even playing anymore. He's not done anything since leaving Juventus and at his age he's obviously not going to turn it around/can't because he's not up to it. Surprised they didn't get shut to Saudi Arabia actually in the summer.

Always thought this season would pan out as it has done so far for Napoli. Long way to go but look back to being far more average this season.

San Siro is coming to the end of it's life span my friends.

AC Milan unveiled plans today to move to a 70k stadium and Inter Milan have located a site to build a 60K stadium too.

Very weird stuff. Firstly for the video happening in the first place, and secondly for Osimhen to take so much offence to something that may well have been produced by a 19-year old intern or something. Almost like he's looking for a reason to get himself out of there!

How did Napoli manage to fuck up this quickly? Why send off Spalletti when he had a great season and why the hell he was replaced with Rudi fucking Garcia? And now seems like Osimhen hates the club after the official club social media mocked him for missing a penalty. Kvara is not right there either, you can tell from his body language.

4 year ban if found guilty, B sample pending.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67031763

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba's failed drugs test has been confirmed after his B sample tested positive.

Pogba, 30, was provisionally suspended last month after his initial sample found elevated levels of testosterone in his system.

The France international was selected for random testing after Juve's 3-0 win at Udinese on 20 August, when he had been an unused substitute.

If found guilty of doping, he could be banned for between two and four years.

We have to change from doubter to believer. Now.

Who decides how long the ban is? Would he be able to go and play in Saudi Arabia say? Could work out quite well for him financially but the end to his career has been a total embarrassment. I never really thought he had the talent anyway so maybe not a huge surprise for me. 8 goals scored since the start of the 2019/20 season  :lmao

Looks like an insane ending in the Inter-Verona match.

Inter score to take the lead in the 94th minute.  They mess up a counterattack off a Verona free-kick with the Verona keeper up the pitch.  But it's all brought back anyway as VAR intervenes, and the ref gives a penalty on a foul in the said free-kick.  Verona penalty taker misses.
King Kenny.

The league has been massively left behind.

Milan and Inter - and Lazio and Roma - don't own their grounds and groundsharing at antiquated facilities they don't own. Napoli's ground is a complete shithole, Fiorentina's is a shithole. Only Juve have a modern ground and that's only the size of Goodison Park capacity wise (and they still don't fill it half the time as it's a shite location).

Inter would be done financially if they hadn't overperformed in the CL recently and made some big sales.

It has and from their perspective not sure what they can do about it. If it wasn't on TNT I wouldn't pay (extra) for it.

Agreed with the stadium stuff. San Siro is not what it used to be. Only stadium out of those mentioned I've been to.

Aye it's a horrific lack of vision. You can  find posts from here, dating back 15 years talking about the league's financial decline if they don't switch to club owned stadiums and invest in infrastructure.

Doesn't help Italy is a third world country management wise that's just lucky geographically.

Roma have been trying to build their own ground for ages. They had an American owner whose main vision was a new stadium and he gave up in the end due to the ridiculous bureaucracy involved.

I'm not sure there's been a new stadium built in Italy since for Italia 90 (and that was made a mess of with athletics tracks built miles from the pitch like Stadio Della Alpi). Obviously Juve built a new ground since but it was on that site anyway and had to massively reduce in size and make up for the botched job in the first place.

Only had 5 months left on his contract. Probably had to weigh up paying him out now versus getting someone new in and try get the 15-points needed to get back into the top 4.
