Yeah, I reckon I would too although I do think two defenders are required - a CB and a LB. But would be happy with just one midfielder and attacker, depending on who leaves.

If Salah leaves then Id want two attackers, minimum. I think Robbo is good for a year but I have always stated that we should be looking to have some genuine, first choice competition. But I think we should be looking for top quality or a clear pathway to top quality and that isnt cheap, which is why 3 should be prioritised.

My Mrs is Dutch, and based on my experience with her I can confirm that the Dutch make terrible football managers.

I mean, she doesn't even understand the difference between the league and a knock out competition.

- Feyenoord have won possession in the final third more than any team in Europe's top five leagues, with Liverpool in second.

- The average distance (metres) from their own goal when winning possession in open play: Feyenoord 45.2m, Liverpool 44.6m.

- High turnovers: Liverpool 353, Feyenoord 344.

- Average possession in the league: Feyenoord 62 per cent, Liverpool 61 per cent.

Can't blame TAA. His role made complicated than it should be.

This is absolute nonsense. How does his role stop him from attacking a ball that comes into his zone at a corner?? How does his role stop him from making any attempt to tackle someone who is running at him?? How does his role stop him from challenging for 50 50s??

Its clear as day that his attitude to defending absolutely stinks. Its only because he's so good going forward that its tolerated at all. Its why he doesnt get picked for England as Southgate rightly wont have it. Be interesting to see what the new manager makes of this attitude. Easiest thing to do is just play him in midfield.

It’s wild how far this thread is from reality. There are some reasonable criticisms well made - see ryanbabel for an example. And then there are wildly inaccurate and bizzare criticisms left right and centre.

I think the criticism is he should be aiming left and right, and not centre …

I hope he is a better diplomat with the players though as they would expect that after Klopp. The bare minimum is not to throw them under the bus after a bad performance.

According to all accounts, he's 'beloved' of his players so I very much doubt he throws them under the bus. Klopp's diplomacy does not supersede his straightforwardness; many of the team, past and present, have said how much they value his honesty.

Honestly just hope that the flags aren't back for the rest of the season.

If they are, then I'm coming in 20 minutes late to the last two games.

Really, really, really don't want to even see them.
