Looks like Yousaf is on the verge of standing down as First Minister.

It's rank economic incompetence. Nothing more, nothing less. Oh and corruption too.

These are the bastards who slashed our services in 2010 through "austerity" - cutting costs to supposedly save money. They're a bunch of locusts and mosquitos. Treated the country's finances like their own personal piggy bank.

Britain has never really properly recovered from 2008 , Austerity and Brexit have just furthered the downturn the UK is screwed for the foreseeable future.

To be honest, I don’t want Arsenal to win it because I don’t want that detestable little prick Arteta being level with Klopp on PL titles. Doesn’t seem right. Plus there’s the way Arsenal play, cheating, diving and cry arsing. They are reffed differently to us which pisses me off. Then there is obviously the TNB factor aswell 😉

Strongly disagree with all your points apart from the last one.

I just can't see him being here next season now that the laptop boys have started leaking to their mates in the press to undermine Jürgen. Those few words by Paul Joyce a few days ago were pretty damning. The only person that wanted you at the club is leaving in a few weeks. Having said that, they probably have a minimum figure that they want to sell him for. If they don't reach it, he'll stay.

Those leaks, if leaks is what they are, were ages ago. The journalists were just repeating stuff they’d already written. But also, data nerds are unlikely to look at his performances for us and think, ‘yeah we should get rid’. He’ll be undervalued by the market (owing to a lack of headline goal numbers) and also be quite hard to replace - owing to actually really quite good production per 90. Plus there’s the hope that his underperformance on xG will revert to the mean (which is what the data nerds will expect) and he’ll be even more productive in the future.

Said it since day one

VAR ruined football. It has absolutely fucked it in the arse with an inanimate carbon rod.

Let's say for example var you get 97% of decisions right and refs eyes get 95% right

Surely we'd all sacrifice that 2% to get our goddam game back.

Problem is, for big game decisions, referees get 50% right, at best.

Whenever they throw stats around that they get 95% of decisions correct or whatever that includes a player ballooning the ball over the stand and them rightly giving a goal kick for it (although after Taylor gave West Ham a goal kick for that Salah pass to Nunez at the weekend I'm not sure he'd even get something like that right).

Palace was both at the time and in hindsight the final nail in our league season. I think you can also look at the FA Cup exit, in hindsight, as some sort of turning point in our form. Its weird because I for one wasn't as bothered at the time but it looks like it did get to the players in some way.

Another thing that is becoming apparent is that City/Arsenal aren't dropping anywhere near the amount of points people were predicting in this thread with 8-9 games left.

Arsenal just came through their worst week of the season unscathed and with Bournemouth, United and Everton left look very likely to win their last 3.

City are doing the thing that we have not been able to do it feels a single time all season - score early, control a game, and get a second goal early enough to then relax for the final quarter of a game. It feels like win or lose we had to go helter-skelter every single match of the season.

De Telegraph are reporting that Feyenoord will block any moves from Slot to take their Chief Doctor.  ;D

We cant afford to lose him for free, as you say I dont think he will sign a new deal, I think he can still score 20+ a season until his mid 30s but I think its time to cash in.

Sadly yes - head over heart
