Can you even imagine a premier league after these cheats have gotten away with it? You think it’s bad now? Fuckinghell this is nothing compared to what will become of the once beautiful game.

Could be the busiest summer in many a year this.

Seems somewhat likely that a lot of players may leave due to contracts; Salah, VVD, trent. Thago is obviously off. Diaz might be off. Is allison still keen on staying after Klopp has gone? Could kelleher just be the new no1?

Interesting times for sure

I’m not suggesting we sell him because of this, but there are people suggesting it was just a spat, it was normal stuff that we see at other clubs all the time. Some are even suggesting we’ve seen it here a lot. What goes on at other clubs is irrelevant to what goes on here.

Salah should go because he’s on the slide, we may lose him for nothing and he still holds a decent value in the market, at least if he goes to Saudi. The spat with Klopp yesterday isn’t a reason to sell him or get rid, that he’s found himself on the bench repeatedly during this poor run is, though, and it’s a sign he’s no longer the player he once was. It may only be a blip - you’d back him to find form again - but it’s not the first period of poor form over the last few years, is it? It’s not the first time he’s ended a season wearing an invisibility cloak, is it?

With regards to the personal life, I think it’s more applicable to our working lives than our personal lives. If I vented my frustrations towards/about my boss in that way and then poured fuel on the fire when I’ve had time to cool down, I’d expect a few people telling me I’m out of order the next day. I wouldn’t expect people to be saying it happens all the time, you’ve done nothing wrong.

Spot on.

The stuff about everyone having rows in their personal lives is another mad comparison as well in a thread full of them. Well yeah, of course we do all have rows in our lives, but it's usually done in private. If I start arguing with my missus in public then it's a big problem. Salah and Klopp and plenty of others will have rows in private  - that's normal. It's not the same when it happens when you're being asked by your manager to come on and help us in the game and you have all the cameras on you.

And even after all that, he still had the chance to defuse the situation (like Klopp tried to do) and decided to go the other way.

Harry redknapp was a facking football managa though. Not a head coach or wheeler and dealer.

Tory MP Dan Poulter defects to Labour.

But standing down at next election.
They were talking about it on the Stephen Nolan show and it introduced me to a simpering Tory MP I'd not heard of before, Dr. Kieran Mullan of Crewe and Nantwich.  He spent the whole show trying to deflect any criticism and was constantly repeating that Labour-ran Welsh NHS was faring worse even though it was debunked the first time he said it.  Mullan wouldn't even accept any faults with the NHS when another GP with 45 years experience rang in and slated the Tory handling of it.

A quick read of Mullan's wiki entry suggests he's a doctor that's never really been that interested in being a doctor.  His first job was an account executive for a PR firm, then he worked for an advocacy group, founded a charity and finally became an MP at the third time of trying aged 35.  He's standing down at the next election after failing to get himself selected as the Tory candidate for the Gerrymandered safer seat of Chester South and Eddisbury (but not before he got the leading candidate disqualified, seemingly much to the anger of the local members).

To give Mullan some credit it seems like he volunteered for the NHS during the early stages of the pandemic.  I'm not sure how long that lasted beyond the initial photo opportunities though.

Yep, the Head Coach/DoF/SportingDirector/whoever model is something Slot is well used to. He's Head Coach at Feyenoord, Xabi is Head Coach at Leverkusen, Ancelotti is simply listed as Coach on the Real Madrid website, it's only the English who struggle with the concept it seems. Whichever way we work will be something he is already used to.

Most managers in the PL are head coaches too, it's just that they get the title of manager for the reason that English people don't understand the concept.

Danns then? Who else we got that could play that role and is fit?

We need an out and out striker of the Rush/Owen/Fowler/Torres mould. Danns is definately a potential for that role but we need to bring someone in over summer as we're clearly lacking there right now.

The c*nt should be going to prison along with the rest of them

I know that it won't happen but Starmer should have a little book full of cases that he wants investigating, hold all of the c*nts accountable.
