Good for the PL if that is true. Maybe not so good for the other teams as there will be one more rich team to compete against.

If FFP is properly enforced then it wouldn’t make much difference to us but we know it won’t.

As much as FFP can be bypassed, there is no doubting that it will still make it a whole lot harder for a club to quickly build itself up like Man City and PSG did. If you randomly spend what they did in one transfer window now, you will get punished for it. Other clubs in Europe have tried to do it since but they have all given up after a couple of years and ended up worse off than where they started.

Plus, this could be complete bullshit like the numerous other takeover rumours have been.

They are so poorly run that they’ve hardly increased their revenue in a decade.

There are loads of ways you can increase the value of the asset and increase match day income too.
