1) Suarez, because it is.

2) Skrtel, Stevie and Henderson.

3) Coutinho and Sturridge because of how they can play, Sterling because of how he is playing now.

4) Flannagan, because we all love him.

To me it has to be Skrtel and Suarez at both end of the pitch.

Both played out of their skin for the majority of the season, defended and scored on their own when it was needed while others having normal ups and dows or injuries.

There's just so many. Mignolet, Skrtel, Gerrard, Flanagan, Henderson, Sturridge and of course Suarez all in with proper shouts. I gave my vote to Sterling though - he was good last season. He was good in the few appearances he had at the start of this season. But then had to wait until December to get the shot when Sturridge was injured. And he's turned into one of our most important players, let alone made himself undroppable.

Suarez, should, on paper and for sheer amount of "wtf just happened there" moments win it - he's one of the very best players in the world right now. But young Raheem has taken the quality of this team up a notch as well. It was only a few months ago people were moaning about missing out on Salah and Konoplyanka (or however you spell it). Sterling (and Coutinho for that matter), doing so well has meant we haven't missed bringing in quality attackers to support Sturridge/Suarez. Both have scored important goals, and have handled the pressures involved with being in our position better than expected.

In all seriousness

1) Suarez - been the best player in the league and possibly in Europe this season. 30 league goals after missing the first 5 games of the season and I don't know how many assists. Remarkable. Easily the best forward I've seen in a Liverpool shirt since I've been a football fan (since 2002).

2) Gerrard - been a monster in this 11 game winning run. What a leader, what a man.

3) Sturridge - was going to say Hendo but Sturridge scored some really important goals for us this season and went on an amazing run of scoring. His all round play has been fantastic. At times can be selfish but I'm sure a Rodgers will work on that as he did with Suarez.

If we win the league and he lifts that trophy, that'll be one of the most satisfying, memorable stories I've ever had the fortune to witness supporting Liverpool. For his contribution and leadership...

For me, Suarez and is merely a common-or-garden football genius the likes of which arrives once a generation, one of the most gifted footballers on the planet and a spectacular, luminous force of nature. So it was an easy decision.

Went for Sturridge, as pivotal as Gerrard and Suarez to our team.

Along with Sterling, I think that this season has shown that those two players will become two of the best in the world in there respective positions.

Hard not to choose Gerrard and Suarez but this season has shown that Sturridge is more important to the future of our club in a playing sense and has everything to be the best.

Daniel Sturridge has been awesome too. Its probably the first time for 20 years that we have had so many players that can be considered for Player of the Year.

I voted for Luis purely because he's been the player who's taken my breath away most this season with some utterly outrageous little tricks. It's been an absolute pleasure and privilege to watch him this season, and I can't wait to see him in the Champions League next season.

However, the fact that Gerrard, Sturridge, Sterling, Skrtel, Flanno, Coutinho or Henderson all deserve it as well show what an incredible season it's been and what an amazing job BR's done.

Same. The story of the season has been Sturridge carrying us, then Suarez carrying us and then in 2014 the entire team becoming world beaters (first Henderson, then Gerrard, Flanno, Coutinho, Sterling and Skrtel).

I voted Hendo, simply because the most obvious ones we all knew were good players and went pegged down as a liability.
As much as I dont wanna dig up the old news, Suarez did want to leave us and bolt to Arsenal while Hendo was shown the door as a possible exit and chose to stay.

To me hes the player of the season, as he embodies the LFC spirit for the whole season not just half of it.
